Quick tip for those who happen to only have wooden skewers in your home: soak a bunch in water ahead of time so they don't burn, and then use 2 skewers per kebab so they won't rotate. The doubling up creates an almost flat surface, which prevents that turning.
This is a popular dish in our region (middle east) we usually have it every weekend or so 😅 you should come and visit so you can have it and feel the vibes ❤😊
Omg!! This looks so good 😋 I'm scared of getting the right cut of meat, but will try to find a butcher. Thanks Lisa! As usual, this looks like it will be a keeper.
More, marvellous, mealtimes with these lovely kabobs. You make everything seem so easy to do and a real encouragement for people to do this for themselves. Magnificent.
Cant wait to make this soon for me can i use vegan worcestershire sauce and tofu i never had beef shish kabobs before perfect for my after office meals
I'm making these this Sunday 10/22/23. Got the skewers, and all the fixens. I'm in ky, so its getting chilly. Don't care. Firing up the fire pit and grill. Will get meat marinated overnight. Got lots of ' schrooms, peppers and onion. Even ordered the special soy sauce. Made pumpkin pie, and ultranutty pecan bars. Woooo hooo. Gonna be good feasting in L'ville Sunday😅
We love beef shish kabobs. The vinegar (red wine or balsamic) does a good job of tenderizing the meat. We bought metal skewers because they are longer (more shish kabab!), easy to wash, reusable, and don't burn on the end which wood skewers always do no matter how long you soak them. We also like to skewer our meat separately (with pieces of marinated onion between each piece) from the veggies (onions, green pepper, mushrooms, and grape tomatoes) because we like our meat medium-rare and our veggies cooked a bit more than they would be if on the same skewer as the meat. We also marinate the beef in one bowl (adding a teaspoon of Kitchen Bouquet to the marinade) and put the onions, peppers, and mushrooms in another bowl with the same marinade WITHOUT the Kitchen Bouquet. We marinate both for at least 5 or 6 hours then grill, basting with garlic and thyme butter. We make enough to have a microwave warmed repeat dinner of them the next day.
1. Wood skewers are better as they hold everything in place and produce a better tasting kabob 2. Fill the skewer completely up, I normally get 6 pieces of meat on each 3. Add cherry tomatoes to add flavor 4. Never use a purple onion, sweet onions are the best 5. Marinade the meat 3 to 5 hours, 24 hours will cause the meat to fall off
For grilling, I'd say these are best made with metal skewers as wooden skewers can burn easily. I'm pretty sure you can cook this recipe (not on skewers) in your air fryer, but I would look up a similar recipe!
I smiled when u came up with that Video 😃 since 2 Weeks im maki g these Kabobs every 2 Days ☺️ the only thing which i never used in the Marinade was the Soy Sauce 😲 so next time i gonna try your Recipe 😘
You must have read our minds! We literally bought all of the stuff to make this for the 4th. And we already have everything you use for the marinade! ❤

I have a few options written out in the post 😉
You gotta do what you gotta do 😂😂😂
Looks delicious Lisa! My mouth is watering 😋
-1/4 cup soy sauce
-1/4 cup vinegar
-1/4 cup olive oil
-2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
-2 cloves garlic
-1 ttsp kosher salt
-1/2 ttsp peper
You're welcome
Sirloin is so expensive, any alternative beef cuts? Thanks
Boneless chuck or skirt steak
Can this be made in the oven?
Can you use beef stew instead...I know it's tougher but maybe use a tenderizer?....
The vegetables add a lot of color but they look like they're still raw.
❤️💙❤️💙❤️🇺🇸HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!🇺🇸❤️💙❤️💙❤️
How do u get mushrooms not to crack when threading!!??? Frustrating!
I am going to try this. But, was disappointed that you didn't link the greek chicken kabobs here. After looking for 15 mins I gave up.
Here it is! downshiftology.com/recipes/greek-chicken-kabobs/
You really should wash your mushrooms before eating them
Absolutely wrong, sirloin steak is too tough. Ribeyes better.. Do not listen to this nonsense
More, marvellous, mealtimes with these lovely kabobs. You make everything seem so easy to do and a real encouragement for people to do this for themselves. Magnificent.

I’m trying the marinade tonight and I made more to marinade the mushrooms too

What other beef cuts can you use?

Hey!! Amazing recipe… can’t wait to try 😊
Just a question, can this be made on wooden sticks and it air fryer as I don’t have indoor nor outdoor grill

Give this marinade a try and let me know how you like it 😊
Say, "Wooster Sauce."
Saved the day !! Thank you
Looks delicious! But I often eat good meat with raw vegetables or overcooked meat and good vegetables. Do you have the same problem?
I find that with this recipe, both the meat and vegetables are cooked perfectly :)
Wuss-ter-sheer = Worcestershire
Damn that looks good….
You are the best! ❤🎉So simple and how fun you make-in gratitude 🙏🏽💕☀️
Thank you so much!

Wheres the bbq sauce? 😳
Do you grill with lid on or off?
Promo'SM ☝️
😊👍
1/4 cup or tablespoon of olive oil? Video says cup and recipe says tablespoons.
Thanks for catching that! It should be 1/4 cup olive oil.
I decided to do that. I realized no one uses 1/4th tablespoon of anything in recipes lol
😮😮😮
You must have read our minds! We literally bought all of the stuff to make this for the 4th. And we already have everything you use for the marinade! ❤
