When I first listened to Vernon I thought oh this is the perfect stereo type of the southern preacher. I have now listened to Through The Bible for years now and I actually find him to be one of the best preachers that ever lived in the past hundred years. He's "matter of fact" in his presentation of the word.

When I made Jesus Lord it was 1974. I started reading the Bible. I was so hungry for the word. I had nothing but the radio to teach me. I listened to two preachers. Kenneth Hagin and J Vernon McGee. He was teaching the Book of Revelation and I loved it. Wow what an introduction to the Bible. God bless him.
My friend, I'm glad you listened to the preaching. Not understanding why you are saying when I made Jesus Lord was in 1974. Sounds like you're implying that's when you became a Christian or got right with God. That's latter Day heresy to say making Jesus the Lord is some way of salvation. The Lord came to save sinners by making him Lord is implying you became worthy. There's no such thing. We must be saved by the grace of God. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. A person must receive Jesus Christ as their Saviour. John 1:12. Sinful men cannot justify themselves by making Jesus Lord. Certainly Jesus is the Lord and certainly we surrender different areas of Our lives after we become a Christian as we grow in Grace. Don't be caught up with latter-day heresies and another gospel. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved"
But you shouldn't have listened to the radio to try to get doctrine. Why do you think so many people that profess to be Christians are not saved and are nothing but deceived. People when they are on fire are willing to hear the truth but a lot of times they hear lies and they believe in a lie over the truth. There's actually consequences for that in the Bible. That's why so many people are under a delusion.

I have listened to Vernon McGee in year past, until I found out through his own words, that he did not believe in interracial marriages. Many professed Christians will use scripture out of context to try and validate their stance against on interracial marriage. However, the Bible clearly is speaking of the people of different religious groups marrying, not because of ones ethnicity. A person who practices Hinduism and a Christian or one who practices Islam who marries into a Christian relationship is unequally yoked. That's what the Bible was referring to, not different races of the same Christian faith marrying. Amazing how knowledgeable one can be in most of the scriptures, yet be ignorant in critical areas that can cause many to have misconceptions of the true love of God. I'm sure Vernon McGee has answered to that to Almighty God and he's been forgiven. That one thing discouraged me years ago from continuing with his teachings in the Word of God. As for the concept of good and evil existing, it does not. When man and woman exist to no longer pro create out of lust and of love, the same way Jesus was born a virgin, this reality will cease to exist. If you remove the food source, you remove what feeds off of that existence.

When I first listened to Vernon I thought oh this is the perfect stereo type of the southern preacher. I have now listened to Through The Bible for years now and I actually find him to be one of the best preachers that ever lived in the past hundred years. When I made Jesus Lord it was 1974. I started reading the Bible. I was so hungry for the word. I had nothing but the radio to teach me. I listened to two preachers. Kenneth Hagin and J Vernon McGee. He was teaching the Book of Revelation and I loved it. Wow what an introduction to the Bible. God bless him.

But you shouldn't have listened to the radio to try to get doctrine. Why do you think so many people that profess to be Christians are not saved and are nothing but deceived. People when they are on fire are willing to hear the truth but a lot of times they hear lies and they believe in a lie over the truth. There's actually consequences for that in the Bible. That's why so many people are under a delusion.

I have listened to Vernon McGee in year past, until I found out through his own words, that he did not believe in interracial marriages. Many professed Christians will use scripture out of context to try and validate their stance against on interracial marriage. However, the Bible clearly is speaking of the people of different religious groups marrying, not because of ones ethnicity. A person who practices Hinduism and a Christian or one who practices Islam who marries into a Christian relationship is unequally yoked. That's what the Bible was referring to, not different races of the same Christian faith marrying. Amazing how knowledgeable one can be in most of the scriptures, yet be ignorant in critical areas that can cause many to have misconceptions of the true love of God. I'm sure Vernon McGee has answered to that to Almighty God and he's been forgiven.
That one thing discouraged me years ago from continuing with his teachings in the Word of God. Many are going to be surprised when we get to Glory and find that ideology to be faulty. So, you think that God has the Kingdom of Heaven segregated because of race? Two true born-again Christians, one Hispanic, one White, should not marry? One Black, the other Vietnamese, should not marry? Wait for it, one Black, and the other White, both followers in the Lord Jesus Christ, should not marry? Yet, some of these pastors want to preach that God is Love? Some who are called by God to ministry, remain with their own perception of racial matters and that's sad how such a little thing can tarnish so much. God IS Love, and that Love is misunderstood by so many.
You want the real Bible? Better learn to read Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek. You must be born again to understand the things of the Spirit.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:17-18. Not one jot or one tittle. His Word is truth John 17:17-26.
For example In John 10:30 in the KJB it reads, I and MY Father are One. In newer versions it reads, I and THE Father are one. They are attempted to take away the Deity of Christ. That is the only Scripture that have changed. Remember...God told us in Deuteronomy, Proverbs and at the very end of Revelations not to add or subtract from His Word.
Adding those numbers up comes to 666 but in the Bible that number refers to a man not a book.

As for the concept of good and evil existing, it does not. When man and woman exist to no longer pro create out of lust and of love, the same way Jesus was born a virgin, this reality will cease to exist. If you remove the food source, you remove what feeds off of that existence.
