Happy to see you back but sorry to hear life has been rough on you lately. The hobby is always a nice thing to be able to fall back into when you can, hopefully 2022 brings you the time and headspace for it. Look forward to seeing more from you next year. Best wishes to you and the family for a happy and healthy new year
Thank you kindly and much appreciated. Its true, that even with everything going on, I do find a lot of solace in being able to quieten things down and just focus on some hobbying for an hour now and again. Even more so, when I also cut out other distractions that I normally have, like podcasts or videos. It becomes almost meditative. :D Hopefully the New Year will indeed make it a regular part of my life again. I hope you're well too. How are your projects going? Happy New Year! Cheers!
Sorry to hear about your struggles man, all to aware of the work/family/hobby juggle struggle and keeping your head straight. Kinda in the same boat myself. All the best for a more productive 2022.
Mate, I’m sorry to hear you’ve been struggling on a personal level, as a fellow sufferer you know you can always contact me if you ever need to talk. The real life can certainly take centre stage at times and having a young family really does take a lot of your time. It’s great to see you making this video, the knights look really cool. I don’t know if your local to us, but if you are then maybe we could put on a game for you. I look forward to seeing the Bolt Action progress. Happy New Year mate and all the best for 2022 😁👍
Cheers, Lee, the offer and kind words are really appreciated. I've dealt with a lot of anxiety and depression before, so have my techniques for controlling it, but - as I'm sure you know - it can still take its toll even in small doses. I've been doing a lot to help reduce it and my general state of health has improved hugely as a result, but having the sprog running around means I'm having to take things slower than previously. I'm back on the up though, so hopefully things will settle soon. I don't think you're local to me (Rutland), but if I'm wrong, it'd be nice to meet up for a game sometime. If not, you never know, we might cross paths at a future show and can say hello in person. Hope family are well and you all have a great 2022, also. Cheers!
Hope you recover enough to get back into painting Duncan. Painting makes you feel good once you get back into the mojo. I’m so sad you had to get rid of some of your figures.
Thank you, mate. Much appreciated. It was a shame to see so many models and so much of my work have to go, but it was the right thing for us as a family right now. Real life, eh? At least it wasn't everything and I am still enjoying the hobby. It does help as you say, when you can get some time to sit and paint regularly, though. Hope I can keep it part of my schedule. Hope you're well and have a great 2022. Cheers!
Thanks, Callum. Hoping I can develop all of these projects to be really interesting to paint, watch and play. Not sure how local you are to me (Rutland), but I'd be up for a game should the opportunity arise at some point. If not, hopefully we can say hello in person at a show sometime. Cheers! Have a happy New Year!
Alas, yes, the saga greek force went. As much as I loved them, they were most likely to just sit in a box for the foreseeable future, so had to go. Did salvage the cyclops though, as I was super proud of the paintjob on him. Hope you're well and had a happy new year. Cheers!
I did sell them, yes, although no doubt at a loss overall. Didn't have the time to wait, unfortunately. If I hadn't been able to sell, I'd have donated them to someone though - I can't bring myself to simply bin things like minis.
Just take one step at the time, dont stress and take care of your self. Keep painting when you find the time. Happy New Year. 👍
Thank you, shall do exactly that! :) Hope you had a great New Year. Cheers!

Sorry to hear about your struggles mate. I would offer to play but think I'm a tad far away. Sime interesting projects for 2022 for sure.

Please tell me that you sold your models rather than just binning them?!
