What does the 'allow extension' item in Corner Treatment do? It is not in the help file. Thank you both for a GREAT tutorial; I really love this type of review where practical use of a new tool is run through well enough that we can take the ball and run with it, and experiment with the features to figure out the logic behind it. One thing I have always appreciated about SolidWorks is the brilliant bottom up logical construction of parametric process, and the ability to understand that logic and build a predictable feature tree which will update without crashing, when editing early items in the feature tree (usually :-) and because of this logic being able to 'fix' feature or sketch elements that caused the model crash that propagated it to later elements. Way back, we went to a VAR who gave a similar demo of basic modeling parts and assemblies, where he showed the use of 'convert entities' which was a game changer when I was a noob. This Structure Systems feature is that type of game changer now that I fundamentally know how to use it. The tip Michel shared of editing the Cut List parameters was gold.

Yes. You can do weld gaps, the box for it is right there in the corner management tool.
