I really like the chicken sampler. Would love to do that for my wife. She is all into chickens. She does beautiful embroidery. We have been married 42 years this May. Can't count how many tea towel sets and tablecloths she has embroidered. The cat sampler is perfect for my daughter. She too is a cat lady. 40 years ago, she came into this world not expected to make it. She was a premie. She is definitely a daddy's girl. I almost had tears to my eyes watching this video because you see, she is a redhead. I don't get to see her often enough because she lives in a different city a ways away. She came for our birthdays in August. I told her all I want for my birthday was her. That's it, no gifts. I just had to have my daughter fix. Thank you for your show and tell. There’s a link to the book the pattern is from. I had originally found it on a blog but I believe it was illegally posted so I ordered the book and it has quite a few blue chicken patterns along with other samplers! Oh wow, yea when I bought it I only paid $40!! That’s insane they raised the price that much. Maybe search the title of the book and see if another site is selling it for a cheaper price! I’ll try to look up another store carrying it to see if I can post a cheaper link!

Hi. I just found your channel and I love it and subscribed. I love chicken patterns too and can't wait to see your quilt finished. I wanted to tell you I have a beloved tuxedo cat that swallowed a needle and thread a couple of years ago. He is okay, thank the Lord, but had to have emergency surgery to the tune of1600.00. Unfortunately, he is still obsessed with needles and when I fell asleep stitching not long ago he was on my lap and stole my needle before I even knew what was happening. I was terrified he had swallowed it, but thankfully I found it and got it away from him. He weighs 20 pounds so I usually know when he gets on my lap but he is so sneaky with needle and thread. I am glad you got your adorable sewing basket. I will be looking forward to your next video.
That had to be so scary!!! It’s something I always worry about! We have a few cats that I know would never mess with anything but we have 2 that are just curious about everything. So glad your cat was ok in the end!!

Thank you so much!! I actually found the fabric on Etsy. I think I typed in vintage farmhouse fabric and it was one of the ones that came up. I’m not sure what the actual fabric line is called, I think it’s older fabric. I would definitely look on Etsy though!!!
