You have press the gaurd button which is L1 on ps5, exactly at the point of time when your opponent is about to hit you, and you have do that every time your opponent tries to hit you. That means you may have to press gaurd button many times to perfectly deflect certain attacks like the waterfowl dance. TL;DR: Press the gaurd button just as the opponent is about to hit you.
TL;DR is just an abbreviation of too long didn’t read, ignore that part. On XBox you can press the LB button just as a attack is about to land on you, to perfectly parry it.
Yes you can! I would suggest perfect parry the first flurry, then roll inside, then just wait out the third flurry. Or you can go crazy and parry everything.
@@The_All_FatterImpressive performance! I am currently trying it out myself, and can perfectly deflect everything except waterfowl. I wonder if it requires to perfectly deflect just the first hit in each series and then hold, or continuously try to match each of her arm swing?
@we1lcarry0n Thank you, i just deflected the first one perfectly, I couldn’t deflect the second one perfectly no matter how much i tried. So i rolled through it, and ignored the third one.
Alright so here are the main components of this build, things which are absent you can modify according to your own build. Main Talismans: Curved Sword Talisman, Blade Of Mercy, Dagger Talisman. Main Wondrous Physick component: Deflecting Hardtear(Main), Bloodsucking Cracked Tear(Or whatever you like). Apart from these things, you can add whatever you want according to your build and especially weapon or affinity.
@@Cold_Zero_The_Wise You could try any thrusting weapon. I haven’t really tried any yet. If you are looking to try something really strong, try out Antspur Rapier.
You have to use the bubbletear you get from killing the first furnace golem/ wicker basket that you see in the DLC, just as you enter the DLC. It’s called a Deflecting Hardtear, if i remember correctly. In talismans, you can have the one that enhances Guard counters. Nothing more is needed in my opinion.
Just so you are not confused, you have to put the bubbletear in your mixed physick juice/elixir. For the other one, you can put one that breaks enemy stance more easily. Good luck.
either do his questline and after defeating final boss find his body then loot it or you can invade him and get them earlier but who would want to kill a bro
It’s the Ansbach’s chest armor, with hand armor from the night set probably. I don’t remember the leg armor, but it is surely from either these two or Thiollier’s set. Try all these out and see what fits your taste.
@@Webpirat2604 I am sorry pal, I don’t remember well, but it most likely could be Ansbach’s set. I was going for an all black look. Could be from the night set or Thiolliers even. Please try all these three out.
Sword of night as the main weapon. Enhance guard counter, Damage increase with each critical hit, shard of alexander, increase critical hit damage ;as the main talismans. The deflecting hardtear in the physick, second one could be to increase attack power with consecutive attacks. That’s basically it, enjoy.
Calling it Sekiro tear, is just to celebrate the fact that now there is a mechanic in Elden Ring that at least in some way imitates the parry mechanic in Sekiro. I never said, that it is exactly copied from sekiro. Also i am a huge Sekiro fan, you can check videos of Sekiro on my channel. Much love man.
Why does it cost stamina even on perfect block? Thats not very sekiro like. Also it does not fill the enemie's posture to stance break it, that's not very sekiro like. You also still cannot see enemy posture bars like in Sekiro. If it allowed for all of these things AND was a talisman instead THEN this would be as close to sekiro as you could get. So it is more like a poor man's walmart knock off sekiro parry. Better than nothing i suppose. Also stupid how Malenia can heal off these. God ER can be so mid at times lol.
One thing you are right about is that it should have been a talisman, i am sold on that idea. Everything else is just being too hopeful. This is good enough for the time being. Even in sekiro your posture still increases even when you perfect parry, it makes sense that the stamina decreases less than usual. Malenia healing is BS tho.
@@The_All_Fatter The talisman thing is definitely a miss on fromsofts end. Though I wanted to clear something up. In Sekiro your posture DOES go up. But if you keep perfect blocking even when your posture is maxed out it will never break. Obviously if the bar is full then one mess up will break your stance but if you keep flawlessly deflecting it will never break. Also remember it had no stamina. So if you perfect blocked like a god and barely ever whiffed you could take zero damage from a boss, parry their whole combo and one shot them by filling their posture bar while never breaking yours.
I played the deflect tear a lot and noticed that on some weapons with higher guard boost, you actually lose no stamina. Also, you can use the guard boost talisman to achieve this effect on weapons that have barely enough guard boost. Couple that with the stamina regen tear or the 2 headed turtle talisman and stamina basically becomes a non issue.
Please do consider subscribing for more videos like these, and i love playing all types of games, so stay tuned for more❤.
Sekiro tear vs rellana is peak bossfight experience. feels like a dance more than a fight
Damn even TH-cam thinks you're playing sekiro and not elden ring
I am thankful for that.
So it still heals her even though you deflected the shot….. Interesting
Yeah man, thats kind of BS, but still fun to do the powerful guard counters.
Of course it does, it wouldn’t be Malenia if it wasn’t pure cancer.
