Really enjoyed this Sean. I was thinking of M R James the moment you mentioned the Martello tower. I was expecting to see a shadowy figure chase after you across the shingle beach too. 👻😁 I love M R James. You do find some creepy places. 😮 I’d be a nervous wreck visiting them with anyone. I certainly wouldn’t go alone. 😮 You are brave. Crazy 🤪 but still brave. 😂 Fascinating to see the remnants from the war. The Dragons 🐉 Teeth look 👀 terrifying. 😮
Thank you Caroline. Well, I am not really that brave, I just try to make myself look cool in the edit.😂 Funny you should mention a shadowy figure on the beach. I tried to recreate a creepy M R James scene by filming myself from a distance in various weird poses. But it just looked terrible.😂
Thanks Sean very interesting as usual. Always looking forward to your next story. We started following you when we went to Old Bolingbroke at the bottom of the Lincolnshire wolds, staying in a cottage. Just after lockdwn. We found you then looking for places of interest. Regards Richard and Jen
@@Seany63 It's brilliant isn't it? Talking of things Bruce Robinson, have you read "They all love Jack"? If not I think you'd really like it. Keep doing what you're doing.
Thank you Aiden, I did a few book readings in the very early days of my channel. They are still here somewhere, but yes, I would love to do more. Well, I hope to make more Lincolnshire-based vids over the summer. If it ever stops raining that is.
Nice video, just out of intrest it was a lesser spotted dogfish, catching a few on the lincs coast at the mo, they used to use the skins to scrub decks of old wooden ships/boats, its smooth one way and like sandpaper the other, look forward to the next video👍
you there!!!!! Yes, I'm here. I'd never heard of this mystery before. It does sound like a PR stunt though. That dog fishing wasn't barking much. Really nice to see a new upload. Thanks Sean 😊
Thank you Kelly, yes it still creeps me out. After the previous vid, I originally intended to edit the ghost out of this one . I didn`t, obviously. Only because I am now 100% convinced that it is real. Yes, no barking, he was dog-tired. Ok,😁 that was crap😅
Another amazing video! Really creepy whisper too. You can guarantee if you tried to go back and see if it happened again it wouldn’t. Keep the videos coming 😁👌🏼
Thank you Sean for another really fascinating and interesting video. Watching your stories and investigations is the perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day at work, and I always learn so much from them. As an aside, I recently recommended your channel to my daughter as she is studying woodland folklore and mythology as part of her English and History degree at university. She's found your videos to be very helpful, so I'm certain she will be citing you as a source for her research when she writes her dissertation.
Aaaaarrr wasn't expecting this on a Monday some very interesting information me mate sean you've definitely caught an voice wow hope you're nice and busy with work I'm currently working in Ulceby have you ever been once again thanks for your awesome work and channel
Cheers Lee, yes I know Ulceby quite well. My folks live near there. The last time I was in the area I explored the abandoned Haunted restaurant at Ulceby Cross. Yes, lots of work on at the moment mate. However, it never stops raining so its hard to do a full day's work these days. I have lots of filming to do so I hope we get a summer. Thanks again Lee its always nice to hear from you.
There he is with another great video! Thank you Sean for allowing us to join you on holiday. Being on the other side of the pond I didn't know any of the stories you related, I know history here is sorely lacking now. Any way stay safe and keep wondering. Much love from a very hot and dry (send me some rain) Arizona.
Thanks Kari, Its always nice to hear from you. Well, hot and dry sounds great. Its feels more like October than June here and it never stops raining Yes, I wish we could do a weather swap with Arizona for a month or two. All the best to you Kari.
Thanks Sean, and what a bleak prospect that place presents. At the risk of repeating what you may already know, the Martello tower in MRJ's "A Warning to the Curious" is the one just south of Aldeburgh in Suffolk (Aldeburgh being Seaburgh in the story). I understand it is now a holiday let.
Cheers Frank, yes I enquired about staying in the tower at Aldeburgh but it was very expensive. However, the tower features in my forthcoming video about the stories of M.R James.
An absolutely fascinating and atmospheric broadcast - that whisper still chills. Many thanks Sean.
Thank you Alan, might be my imagination but the whisper seems louder in this video. Thanks again.

Thank you Richard, i am pleased you have both stuck with me all this time. All the best.
Great film as always Sean. A lot to enjoy, lovely, bleak scenery; WW2 history; M R James and a nod to Withnail and I!
Well done.
🙂
Cheers Robert, you are the only one to recognise the music from one of my favourite films.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it👍
Great as always, even places I've never been to, I get so engrossed with them. Keep the ones in Lincolnshire coming, my county 😊
Thank you Jo, yes, expect more vids from our home county later in the year.

you're welcome Ruth.
Wow Sean I think whatever side you are on that is a truly horrific way to die ! Great story mate , never heard of it before , thank you !
Cheers Lyndon, yes horrific. But thankfully it is unlikely to be a true story
That whisper is still creepy...
Yes, and so loud. Yet I heard nothing at the time
very good camera work.
Thank you, Tim.
Don’t tell them your name, Sean! 👌
Haha, no I won't Mr Mainwaring.👌👌
Nice mate was there 25 yrs ago.i saw it all again with you.did you get attacked from the seagulls
Cheers Robin, well fortunately the seagulls could be heard and not seen.
Different but interesting all the same wonder what the truth is behind that invasion
Thank you Denise. Well, some say the rumours started when the bodies from a crashed plane washed up on the beach. I didn`t know that at the time.
