This is the first time I see 2 FL feeling sorry for FL, finding her pitiful to the point of being a little sad at the wedding. When she was in the room handing the bouquet to FL, she felt sincerely sorry and even wanted to tell the truth and was interrupted by ML. Even 2 FL thought what ML planned to do at the wedding was too cruel. The 2 FL had much more awareness than the ML. ML destroyed FL's mother and her younger sister, in addition to destroying FL socially, emotionally and psychologically. It was a juggernaut in the life of this family that in the end revealed themselves to be innocent and victims of ML's mother who would have discovered the truth if she had researched like the other did. He deserved to lose sweet, kind, loving FL.
I may never condone abuse whether physically or mentally but aside from that said abuse, logically, ppl in that situation wld actually do the same. I mean, the same in a way the ML wld believe his mother as he saw her being hurt while his dad was obssess w someone. He'd hate who his mom hates but as they've said revenge is never a good thing esp to do it w ppl who was directly had to do w it like Chu Yan. On the FL side, I also understand why she decided to step aside her pain & hatred w ML wn he propose to marry her bcs as she read the diary she knew that whatever happened w her mom & his parents, the one who suffered most was ML. She was actually courageous to set her own pain aside & just decided to be happy w him. She's bn tortured emotionally & mentally throughout the series but she set that aside & actually chose to let the past be & gave a chance at happiness. I like how ML wld suffer mentally & emotionally too seeing how he fcked up for life. I just hope the sister wld have a better outlook from here on. Such a sad life for FL.
This is the second one I've seen recently where the child was blamed when the vengeful one's parent died. I know it happens - mother dies in childbirth and baby is blamed, etc. but it really annoys me. Even if the FL's mom had been the seductress he put zero blame on his own father's choices and blamed a little girl as an accomplice who only answered that her own mom was pretty (not said maliciously, just a simple child about her mother). The fact that the FL's mother was the actual victim of the ML's parents yet the FL chose love and hope rather than revenge while the ML chose destruction. So sad. No one is a perfect storyteller. Every story has more than one side. The fact that the ML never investigated the truth on his own is just testament to the fact that as much as you believe the ones you love you have to understand that there can always be more to the story - these dramas seem to thrive on the lead believing one side of the story and almost never looking beyond that one side no matter how potentially biased.

My favourite CEO is back. Man made that cigarette pull very sexy. Okay the FL once again is meh. If your are going to act then take lessons to evoke emotions. Even abuse is to evoke emotions and not my eye rolling. Yes, it is abusive just like the highly priced pay-per chapter Chinese novel. Happy to see them using real sized women and not over skinny actresses. Guess I have to torture myself watching her to watch my man. A well-deserved ending.
