Great video! I just got this quoted, ( Estimate 4076) and was curious about what went all in on this type of upgrade. Also, what is the purpose for the limit straps?
Spring kits are huge but combining them with shock internals and bypass tubes is just next level on performance and ride quality. The limit straps save the shock and stop Extention clunk. When you run an aftermarket wheel and tire or other accessories it changes the speed at which the shock extends. Extending too fast and the system comes to an abrupt stop at full Extention. That clunk is the sound of everything stopping on the shock shaft. Eventually that clunk grows and it pulls the shaft apart. Major damage and usually strands you. The straps stop the Extention before it can damage the shock shaft and it stops the Extention noisy clunk to.
New to you guys. Just saw the 11/9/21 episode. The X TRAVEL towards the end of the video. Dual point contact at the tower ? What would that system run for X3 Max DS X Turbo RR? Since I'm just now asking, 2024 vs 2021, has it been proven a good system worth purchasing? Thanks for your time Stan Marsh
Hi Stan. Thank you for tuning in. You would have to call the X Travel guys for pricing but we have used it quite a bit and love the lack steering feed back
Is there a way iqs system kit can be modified to make the preset values different front to back. For example if i wanted to create 2 modes. 1 is normal mode and other is nose high mode. Nose high mode lowers the rebound on the front. Similar thing like baja and race mode on pro r polaris. Or to somehow incorporate active adjustments on fly with arduino and g sensor? Btw what's the name for that nose high setting im sure it has a specific name?

Nice work Steve. Please leave the music out next time!
Hey I just noticed for the lower bolt on the shock should be a 21 mm not 18 mm
....for what it's worth
