As someone who is not Nigerian (in the diaspora) and love the Nigerian culture, these interviews help to get to know people who I hear about online but don’t know their history. Great interview as usual. Thanks Tay
My dad passed when I was 16 and mom at 20. How I survived medical school fees and all is quite the story. I thank God for the morals and beautiful upbringing my parents instilled in us. I deeply relate to Ubi’s story. Great job Tay.
Podcast indeed is the most interesting medium now, paying this guy 50k as young as he was back then was such a kind gesture by Obi, I look at him differently now tbh
This is like the most insightful podcast I’ve listened to in a while…. So much to learn and definitely see Ubi from another angle.. Well done Please we want more of this type of content 👏👏
Ubi said the whole truth, life wasn’t easy when Dad passed, we worked double hard to make things right and earns meet 🫂God bless everyone who had supported Ubi genuinely.
Waow! This is one of the REALEST EXPOSE' on the Nigerian music Industry I've watched in a long time. GOD BLESS YOU for sharing all these UBI FRANKLIN. You might not be in my best books cos of how you reacted when I wanted to book TEKNO some years back while working for a radio station in Abuja. I had reached out to you to try and book TEKNO and you didn't respond to my I.G message because you thought my asking price for his services was too low. I also did that cos you had come to my former radio station in Abuja with IYANYA asking us to help promote him and we did. So I thought you could have returned the favour somehow. Anyway, it's all good now as I didn't know you were dealing with some issues then too. MAY GOD BLESS US ALL, AMEN!
I was not expecting I was going to finish the interview to the end but instead it gets more interesting and interesting to the end 🤔 there should be part #2 & very emotional 😢 💔 at some point bless up more wins 🏆 bravo 👏 Oops another thing you're a very grateful person you never forget the people that's hold your hand when you where down. I always admire your loyalty and good sense of humour. #humblebeginning
Inspirational story, it was heart broken when we had Ubi parted way with Inyanya back then in calabar. Thanks Ubi for finding parts with Inyanya looking forward to greater heights with triple mg.
Thanks for bringing up this show it was interesting i learnt a lot from Mr Ubi Franklin sharing his story and experience, i just wanna add something pls don’t take it personal i know you’re trying to get some information from him and maintain the topic, pls try not to interrupt or cut him short when sharing something’s it his experience, there’s some part he didn’t complete cuz you ask another question when was still going deep into some details, Thanks one love am a Big fan
God bless Mr Ubi for sharing, this interview is the best. Quote of the day ''Be very intentional on what you want to do, never make anyone make you feel you ideas or plans are worthless" Cheers!
That's why you shouldn't judge these celebrities on their current level in life because you don't know the mountains they moved to get to their level now . Life is a journey
I didn’t want Ubi to stop talking. This is one of the best episode ever.
I love as Tay allowed him to talk, some interviewers can be so annoying.
Thanks for listening everyone. You can also stream the full version on all audio streaming platforms ☕️
