Hello,
Can the model still be interpreted if, for the Model Fitting Information, the chi-square is not significant?
What can I do if multinomial logistic regression is recommended for my analysis but none of my categorical independent variables has a significant relationship with my dependent variable?
Cox and Snell, Nagelkerke and Mcfadden are 0.0308, 0.0770 and 0.0612 respectively.
Thank you for your reply,
Have a nice day
Thank you!!
Can I run Multinomial Logistic Regression with a dichotomous dependent variable?
Why would you want to do this? If the dependent only has two possible outcomes use a logit or probit approach.
Just use a Binary Logistic regression instead.
Thank you very much for the explanation!
I have a question, what tests should I do to measure the influence of a set of variables on the occurrence of a phenomenon in the absence and / or combination of them? I'm working on my thesis and I'm trying to find patterns in the interaction of this variables.
I would really appreciate your help
If I get your problem correctly you might try to check out canonical correlation as a topic or run a factor analysis first and then include the factors as independents into the regression.
Thank for explication
thanks a lot, sir, how to adjust several variables into models and test the OR and CI .... ex (model 0ne blood pressure, age, gender. and model two contains model one + cholesterol, creatinine ,albumin )
Simply add more independent variables.
Thank you so much
I have a dependent variable that is not categorical, actually Financial performance. I tried to use Ordinal Logistic Regression but in the process found that the Test of Parallel lines was violated. How can I use Multinomial Logistic Regression in such a dataset. Do you have a video to guide me on how to go about this?
Is your dependent variable continuous or ordinal? Continous dependent variable would require a Linear regression, while an ordinal dependent variable would require either an Ordinal logistic regression or a Multinominal logistic regression. Hope this helps?
Gracias amigo...!!!
if the response variable is ordinal then use multinomial logistic regression..? plz help me
If you have a dependent variable that is ordinal then better use an Ordinal Regression even though the mulinomial logistic would still work depending on your interpretation of the output.
