I was born in Argentina! Diego Maradona gave us such happy moments around the TV with family and friends, faraway from Argentina , watching this most talented players of those days!! RIP
The Azteca Stadium has such a Golden historic legacy it’s unbelievable the memories that were created on that pitch Maradona, Pele, West Germany, Italy.
Even the greatest stadiums off the top of my head(La Bombonera, Old Trafford, Wembley, San Siro, Anfield, Camp Nou, Santiago Bernabeu) will never have the two greatest footballers win the WC on their pitch.

I am 21 years old, although I never saw him grow up, my grandfather who is Argentine saw him play, my grandmother saw him win his World Cup, they taught me how it felt to watch him play and I simply wanted to be like Diego, with his death one Much of my childhood is gone but thanks to you I love soccer, I love Argentina and I love you Diego.

There's no way Messi and Ronaldo could play in this intensive era..it was a real brutal era.. defenders could break your legs and get away with it.
Great players can play in any era. You could easily say legendary players could not play in the modern era when defenders are fit athletes who can run as fast as attackers and games are more tactical.
Ronaldo was playing in the premier league in the early 2000s he could of defo hacked it in that era aswell.
Even if they played and performed in that era, no way neither could have lead a team to wc victory like Diego..he was an emotional player too, could influence his team and an entire generation
