The other Endymion player waited entirely too long to negate. If he had hit the Institution search, you would have been in a really bad spot. Not that he could have known that, but the remove 3 counters should have been some kind of a hint.

My hand was indeed terrible, but the bright side of the game is that the opponent doesn’t know I bricked. Because Endymion didn’t have a counter, he couldn’t return himself for another negate with Selene, so he only had one s/t negate for the entire turn. It’s only logical to negate Institution from seeing the hand, but with nothing known if my hand, negating Servant makes much more sense. Putting three counters on Servant is already hard enough so all he had to do was wait for her effect to negate her. The issue was that I had two Servants so it was a misplay on his part to negate Servant when I had the other one ready to go anyway. The best negate would’ve been to just save Endymion’s negate for my Endymion scale effect.

I don’t remember if this was the replay it’s been so long. But yeah there was one where a lot of miss plays were done by the opponent
@Shadow I saw that duel live and I had the same reaction as you when citadel hit the field lol good shit
LOL. Yeah, I was talking with chat and the moment Citadel was activated, I completely went silent. The duel would’ve been so much better if I had just a bit more time because I could’ve went into Starving Venom to trigger Magister. It would’ve been an OTK, but at least I still won.
It's always the spell negates that hit harder then the monster negates
Fortunately if people don’t know what deck you’re using, they’ll prioritize monster negates rather than spell negates.

On good turns, I can clear the board before even summoning another monster.
The other side made a mistake. He should have attacked Endymion, not the Jackal King. Then he can special summon Endymion bomb.
Yeah he misplayed a few times actually. Not sure what he was thinking

Do you think we need to exceed pendulum in the new pack?
I don’t think it will make much difference to the current build but let me ask shadow
I think exceed fits better in pendmagi, because pendmagi uses gy more than endymion does
Selene is still better than Exceed in an Endymion deck because she generates spellcounters. Also Exceed requires complete scales to use her effect while Selene just requires 3 counters, so I’d say to stick with Selene still.

You said this deck is for link fusion event. Is it good to bring linkuriboh for ranked duel?
@@alfhifauzan4307 let me double check but yes I think link kuriboh is in the main extra deck
@@alfhifauzan4307: I’ve been using Linkuriboh in the main deck for years. He actually does help. If Jackal gets negated, I want to be able to link him away to summon him again. Also there are times where I get magister to 3 counters but have nothing in the extra deck, so I can just normal summon Jackal to link away for Linkuriboh. This lets me put a pendulum in the extra deck so Magister can summon it, which lets me go for Electrumite. It would be even better if Linkuriboh was a Spellcaster but since there isn’t a generic spellcaster link 1 that points downwards, Linkuriboh is the best we have.
Woulda been easier if you ran astrograph or beyond the pendulum
