    Switching between "Rev > Trem" vs "Trem > Rev" is crazy. Very cool feature.

      The Hydra does it in one second. I can remember the way to change the parameters that matter to me gigging, so I didn’t just try to seek the Hydra to get one of these.
      I have an analog Tremolo, the Subdecay Vagabond, that is a better Trem, with a envelope, so it can be fast or slow on pick attack, then get faster or slower, as the signal settles.
      I use it sometimes, if the set has several Trem heavy songs.
      I really got the Hydra, because I wanted the stereo capabilities, at the end of my chain, with a quality Trem and Reverb.
      I tried the V1 and V2 Flint, and I liked the Hydra better.
      If the Zoma had been available, I wouldn’t have bought a Hydra, because the Spring>Sine and Harmonic>Plate, are all I really use.

    This is great, yes the Hydra was great but i love the simplicity of this unit, the BIG KNOBS is a wonderful addition btw. Big knobs ftw. Congratulations Robert Keeley and all the team.

      We love Ariel up at the shop, Aaron Pierce was the main influence on the production. I think Ariel will continue to work on reverb and tremolo ideas with us and hopefully we can build his ideas one day!

    Oh man, I wish I had that guitar. I accidentally found the AP Hudson Broadcast, never would’ve given it a chance. I always wanted the regular Broadcast, but the AP turned out to be one of those life changing pedals, one of the very best I’ve ever owned.

      Thanks! If you side-by-side the two.... The Zoma has a wow factor with the Spring and Plate reverbs that's hard to deny. At $229 it's a poor man's Strymon at worst, or a really smart piece of kit for the informed buyer.

    Are the actual algorithms significantly reviewed from the Hydra? Or it’s mostly the reviewed form factor and usability..?

      The DSP coding is the same. The improvements in headroom and lowered noise floor are the result of redesigned circuit boards. 🙂

    This could actually take a couple pedals off of my board and slim it down a bit. That being said it wouldn’t sound any different so I think I’ll save money. If it were out before I built my current boards then yes. Great sounding pedal.

    Can't select the trem type independent from the reverb? Pitch shift instead of a bias trem option? Only 2 reverb types? Sorry, 3 strikes and you are out Robert.

    No disrespect, however a new pedal with reverb and tremolo seems kind of redundant. Don’t most of us guitar geeks have reverbs and tremolos already? Ariel’s rational for liking the pedal is a bit strange.

    • @RobertKeeleyTV
      @RobertKeeleyTV 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      That's a fair question. Reverb and Tremolo aren't just boxes to check for us. We're not satisfied with the reverbs that we hear on the market. I'm an engineer and I have engineers and programmers on my team that continue to create better sounding effects. That's what we're in the business of doing. Designing and manufacturing high fidelity sound effects. We can make very musical and high fidelity alternatives. I think Ariel is inspired by gear that allows him to get his thoughts and melodies out in the most honest way. This gear and sound allows him to enjoy playing and creating music just a bit more.
