I always loved how Barney's just chilling in front of the marmalade factory. Luckily there's no lorry in sight that could spill marmalade all over the race track...
That feeling when you get home after your team has won this weekends rally event, only to find Studframe has released a rallythemed brickfilm 🤩 Barney was my goto character in Lego Stunt rally! And used him sometimes in Lego racers 2. I have the physical figure chilling at the gas station in my microdiorama.
I never noticed this, but Barney's Dragster here is actually SHORTER than the model its based off of, 6714 Rocket Dragster! Odd however that the Game omits part of the motor assembly, and adds the double slope 2x2 on top of the front wheels. I can assume that they left the 2x3 w/ hole to cut back on needless polygons though, since there's no need for the release assembly in game.
@@StudframeAnimations They still do pull back motors, but exclusively on Lego Technic sets. The Pull Back motors with studs haven't been seen since 2010.
I’m planning to do them mostly in order of how how you unlock them. So technically Mega Hurtz is next. But there are some difficulties to build his car with existing parts. Same with Sandy Surf. Sid Vacant is possible to build. So he might be next. 😁
@@ivanskryabin5220 Yeah, I agree. But Snake for example would be really difficult because the seat/cockpit piece doesn’t exist in green. Not sure how to do that one. 😜
@@StudframeAnimations I think a gray or black piece wont ruin the build and purist fans can either manually paint the required part or order a 3D print.
@@ivanskryabin5220 Yeah if it isn’t too different. However Snake without his green is a bit too much difference for me. I also have no experience painting LEGO. Not sure how hard that is. 😜
Seeing the old pull-back motor brick unlocked some ancient memories.
Hahha awesome! 😁

Congratulations on your rally team victory! Barney is such a fun character. Nice to hear he still has a place in your diorama. 😁

@@markgee1177 Yes, slightly more optimized for the game. I like both models to be honest. 😁
I used to own the mini version of his car! Very nostalgic.
Mini version? I don’t know about that one. What is it?
Found it, set 6618! Original LEGO IPs used to rock man..
@@JeynickRuns Ahhh, cool little set! 😁
Funny how a dragster was an option of car in a rally racing tournament.
Yeah it’s fantastic. There is even a truck in there. 😂
Yesss, I was waiting for him. Always picked him as a kid haha
Yeahh he seems like a favorite among the community. 😁
That is one Lego part you never seen in any other Lego sets 0:09
It gives it the pull back function. I don’t think LEGO does this anymore. Not sure. 🤔

@@matthewmurnaghan2583 Ahh! It's been a while since I've built a Technic set. Thanks for letting me know! 😄
Very cool
Thank you very much!
Which other cars from stunt rally will you be covering next?

@@StudframeAnimations after that will you cover building the boss cars?
@@alexgeorge501 I wish, but most of them use parts that don’t exist in real life. Only Radium seems to be possible.
@@StudframeAnimations fine with me, how about the cars from LEGO Racers?
@@alexgeorge501 I have a playlist with all the cars from the original LEGO Racers and a few from LEGO Racers 2. You can check it out if you want. 😁
At this point, just remake the game bro. Your work is incredible.
Hahah thank you! I wish I could, but I have no experience in game development. 😜
Cool! Will there be rival racers and bosses too?
Yes! However a lot of them are impossible to build in real life. So I’ll have to skip those, or think of other ways to build them. 🤔
@@StudframeAnimations I think a slight redesign is okay for a consistent collection of cars (and more videos!)

Is this the final race car for Lego Stunt Rally playable characters or are you gonna keep going and make the NPC’s race cars as well too?
Yes and yes! At least the ones that are possible to build in real life. 😁
Yay!
Looks Cool, how do you do These videos?
Thank you! I make them in Cinema 4D and After Effects. But you can make these videos in any basic 3D program.
@@StudframeAnimations ah okey, i might use Blender, i have en Lego project in mind
