- Rameshwaram is a pilgrimage site for Hindus and one of the 4 Dhams .Rameshwaram is surely a must visit place for beautiful Temples most Imp Ramnatha Linga Temple or Ramanathaswamy temple .Rameshwaram has the amazing Pamban Bridge and what to say about Dhanushkodi .The beauty of Dhanushkodi will make you feel that this place is straight out of heaven. Do take a drive to Dhanushkodi if visiting Rameshwaram .

Steps in English for Temple Darshan
1. Go at 1st to east entrance, know as Agni teertham, and take a dip in the sea
2. be in wet clothes and proceed for temple
3. Keep your belongings in the Cloak room
4. Slipper to be kept near Cloak room
5. Go inside the temple in wet clothes, take 25 rs ticket for 22 Kunda holy bath
6. Go in lime for all the 22 Kundra as they throw water from the bucket notice the number mentioned near each of the wells
7. Once finished, go to the changing room inside the temple premises
8. Wear a fresh pair of clothes. Yes, most important thing is to carry fresh clothes for changing as you will be wet after 22 kund Bath
9.Take ticket for final Darshan of Ramanantha Lingam. You can buy Rs 50 or Rs 100 or Rs 200 ticket and proceed for final darshan and yes for Mani Darshan try to form a cue at 4 am itself
Also note that you have volunteers all across the temple ask them for help and don't get in touch with any Pandit and all they will charge a bit more you can easily do it yourself total time for Darshan that took me wa 2.30hrs

Hi Jhilam have shared it all in my vlog of Kanyakumari to Rameshwaram you can check it Hotel Name is Hotel Raghavendra we stayed for 2 nights and also I have given room your in that video so you will get all relevant info ...location is near Agni teertham ...these Hotel you can easily get in 2500 per night now,when we want it was peak season Hotel was ok ok location was good though ...If you want to take 21 kund Bath then look out for Hotel near Agni teertham ...it will easier
One day is enough for complete Rameswaram tourr?
Reach at 4.30 am and departure 10.30 pm-- is it possible to cover all( including Dhanushkodi)?
Easily jhilam you can cover rameshwaram in a day including Dhanushkodi but I will suggest you to reach a day before at hotel by evening take rest as weather is hot and humid in rameshwaram ,Next day which is day 2 explore temple and rameshwaram and leave the next day early morning or late night the same day as per your convenience ..If new to our channel consider susbcribing ...

Hi Dhara Thanks for the comment I want to tell you that the changing space is really big its airy spacious space within temple premises there are no toilets etc all ladies together will be changing there clothes ,It has tall walls all around like a big verandah , so don't worry at all its better you carry clothes and change it there easily it's neat and tidy no need to go back to hotel...If new to this channel do consider subscribing...
Hi. Is it mandatory to take 22 kund bathing before darshan or can we go directly for darshan?
Also darshan of shivling is from a distance or very near?
You can go directly for Darshan. 22 kund bath is something on your wish if you want to try you can .You can see the shivaling nicely, approximately from 10 feet. If you want to see it more closely, you can opt for special Darshan as well .

Hi Rutusha Absolutely you have proper premises a neat and clean area where you can change and as i was carrying a bag with fresh pair of clothes it's a must to carry if planning for 22 kund Snan also if you liked the video consider susbcribing...It's an amazing process and one should try to go through it you will surely enjoy...

ABSOLUTELY Ritik I was carrying one bag with clothes and towel which was with me throughout ...Also if you are new to the channel consider subscribing I kept the phone in the cloak room like electronic device rest clothes you can carry few people were carrying phone but it may get wet during the holy bath process...
