Brilliant. Very unique. A minor thing: At 5:30 it's not time. Zarathustra said "I should go unless I take something from you." He is talking about old man's belief in god that Zarathustra might take (destroy) if he stays for long.
This was completely enthralling. As others have said, if in anyway feasible, making one of these for every chapter would be a great boon. You'd reach many people who would never have read the book otherwise. In any case, phenomenal work.
The book has lived too long in the mountains. Its musings are lofty. Its message is clear. But they think it is a pastiche. Steph is doing exactly what Zarathustra should probably do next - learn the language of the audience. :) It takes a certain kind of chaotic bombast to intentionally create a depiction of the last man using AI, after all.

The matrix is physically possible. A Huxleyan nightmare where all men are too distracted and merely happy to ever rebel or become great. Darwinian evolution has its way with them, and in the end they end up like the pug dog, who cannot survive out in the forest like its ancestors, the wolves. It is unnatural and ugly and sick. It's a terrifying idea that a sick culture that lasts for 1000s of years might sicken up the species until previous possibilities for greatness become impossibilities. The pug dog can never be a wolf. It will only ever be a snack for some stronger animal.

Absolutely astonishing that you used the Richard Strauss tone poem for the intro and epilogue Boyo! I just wish you would've used more of it! The Saint section of the tone poem has such a beautiful, flowery and safe comforting sound, it would've fit so perfectly for when the Saint talks of God. I only have good words to say about this little project of yours. One day when you're channel has gotten bigger and you've got a bigger budget, you should hire a complete team of animators and create a full on shortfilm of these first chapters of Thus spoke Zarathustra, now that would be a sight to see!!
Incredible. As the last man becomes more and more of a reality, our warrior soul is heading more and more towards the ubermensch. We are detaching from the rest of humanity, we shall become the true aristocrats of the future. The merchants are afraid.

I just wanted to say that the adaptation of the original text into a more digestible and poetic english is incredibly good, thank you stef. You seem to translate some sentences into words I would have not imagined.
Unsurprisingly so, as they have no way to recognize it. In the book, shortly after this scene the rope dancer tells Zarathustra to be grateful he was laughed off, and not lynched.
This video was one of the best ones I've seen this year. The words of our favourite mountain incel spoken well, in an almost electric way. It has stirred something in my soul.

I found you yesterday searching up Nietzsche. After a single video I subbed, now I’m on my fourth video and I think I’m going to end up watching you all throughout the day. Your content should be on Netflix, sir.
10:20 Somewhere Nietzsche said that just because he can't open the lock on his own chains doesn't mean he doesn't have the key to the lock of others. In the german version, the village man says "We have heard enough of this Ropedancer, now let us see him.", which I have understood as them wanting Zarathustra/Nietzsche too demonstrate to them this Übermensch.

As a german, the english translation is kind of interesting. In the german version, in section 1 Zarathustra says that like the sun he has to "untergehen" which could be translated as "to go down", "to go under" or "to perish" (untergehen = unter ~ down + gehen ~ walk/go) Edit: I wanted to emphasise that untergehen has the meaning of perishing, since the noun "Der Untergang" basically means "The downfall"
This is fantastic, I can’t wait to take some courses on digital art. I want to see more of this series, people need to learn about the camel, the lion, and the child. That way people understand what it means to become the Ubermensh.
This is great Stef. I still recognize you as someone truly on the same path of becoming an "Ubermensch" in our own way. Many other people here I feel just like thinking of philosophy, but not diving down into the abyss and putting themselves in danger in pursuit of their own hero's journey. For you, the humbler title of Uberboyo. For me, the slight hubris of PrometheanSol. That is our shared similar "ubermensch".
