It’s hygienic enough because whatever goes into your mouth are amply heated after all.
And the spices used are antiseptic in nature as well, and it has been served this way for generations in the region.
I’ve been there and been eating this kind for quite some time but never got any kind of sick due to it.
Those what you guys call as “hygiene” require ridiculous amount of money just to make it way more than necessity.
I call it unsustainable.

Here in 🇵🇭 we still used spoon and fork even when we eat in carinderia (street food which caters different kind of menus heavy foods for lunch and dinner) and we have chairs and table too

Banyak street food di India juga bersih higienis dan enak coyy. Ada banyak bukti nya di channel the food ranger, Mark Wiens dan best ever food show review. Mrka ada banyak street food vlog di India mrka channel international street food. Yg sorotin hampir semua higienis dan bersih di India juga. Karena mrka sengaja ke tmpt yg bersih higienis. Mayoritas street food yg di sorotin ama channel Indo ttg India itu di daerah kmh nya pantesan jrk. Kalau lu makan street food di kota besar di India di area yg bagus pasti bersih PKL nya pakai sarung tangan aduk nya pakai sendok cara masak nya higienis. Apa lagi kalau lu makan di resto biasa atau resto mewah/mahal di India hampir semua enak bersih higienis. Malah ada banyak bukti nya untuk street food yg enak dan higienis juga di India bukti nya di channel the food ranger, best ever food show review dan Mark Wiens. PKL nya pakai sarung tangan cara masak nya bersih. Apa lagi kalau makan di resto atau resto yg mewah mahal di India udah di jamin higienis
