glad to see you back to posting, Danya! your vids have really helped me improve (went from 1200 to 1400 in the past few months) and I enjoy your calm, methodical approach to explaining your analyses of different positions.
Danya is the best and most informative content creator/teacher out there. Each video is thoroughly explained and easily digestible. I can't believe he doesn't have a million plus subscribers like some of the other chess streamers...but selfishly I'm okay with it...because our opponents don't get his priceless insights and explanations. Keep up the great work Danya!
I'm still clawing my way across the beginner ranks, but I've been appreciating the depth these high-level games go. It's quite fun when I get to predict what Daniel would say about the position. Thank you so much for your hard work!
Just fascinating to get insight into the many intricacies of a chess game. Thank you so much for this unique content 🙏 Love Najdorf but never played it combined with dragon, I'm looking forward to try it out!
Danya: Lets see what the opponent opens with... Opponent: e4 Danya: See this is already a mistake, and practically resignable at this point Me: 🍿🍿🍿🍿 I love your videos Danya, you are a gift to us all. I have hugely improved my positional game recently and it's thanks to you and your approach to playing dynamically depending on what your opponent does rather than just stick to subborn openings just 'because'. Thank you for everything you do. Happy new year from the UK.
of the check isn't there right away, but what i mean is the only way to save h2 is with the queen forcing a trade and then picking up the pawn anyway, maybe a more forcing way to get a similar endgame, i have no idea did not analyse properly.
@@musical_lolu4811 In Najdorf both exact lines and ideas are required... Because messing up the move order can completely change the course of the game
h8 e4? because the check on g3 looks terrible for white and you win the pawn anyway? so there is no time for chinanigans, maybe i am missing something right after h8 but i think its pretty cut and dry, threatening to win the h pawn first looks fancier and therefore it is objectively cooler even if it is no better than what you did :D.
I don’t want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need: a meticulously instructional video on the ‘DragonDorf’ structure by my favorite chess streamer, Daniel Naroditsky.
It is a concept you pretty much have to know if you play the Sicilian, there are many positions where the sacrifice is the only viable counterplay against king side attack
This is the structure I find myself very often when playing Sicillian, great to see you play and analyze it and against a strong titled player no less! Old school viewers are very familiar with this guy, he gave Danya haaard games in the first speedrun back in the day!
Opening theory. Middle game tactics. Brute force of calculation. Endgame mastery. I always love when Danya's videos have all that mentioned above. 🙏🙏🙏 Love from India.❤❤❤
danya i improved my games by watching how you deal with each games. what i think most important in chess is controlling your temper and looking into the game with pure logic and analysis. my problem now is i calculate opponents best moves in my opinion and decide my move but opponent makes a better move or my calculation based on visualising goes slightly wrong in board afterwards thereby weakening my position. pls give some advice. i want to be like you danya
the danya's blessing! inspired i played online rapid right after watching this analysis and stumbled upon the opportunity to sac in the same manner, winning a game
This is so amazing to listen to a GM explain their reasoning and thought process whilst playing through a position, and the analysis of the variations afterwards is quite instructive too. Thank you for the video, i will be coming back to this one a few times!
Such small nuances.. thanks Danya for explaining why I'll never be better than 1800. It's crazy because I'd say the difference between a 1400 and 1800 is just tactics, but 1800 to 2200 seems to be a lot.
Imagine losing a game as a 2400, only to have your points refunded like hey new guy, thanks for participating in the speedrun where beginner players get thrashed for educational content purposes.
watched this video at like 3 am and went to see if i could get this position in an online game. 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 a6 6. f3 e5 7. Nf5 d5 8. Nxd5 Nxd5 9. Nxg7+ Bxg7 10. exd5 Nd7 Content so instructive that a non-najdorf player can have success with it based on pattern recognition.
I recently faced 6.a3 in classical against a 2400, apparantly the best Line is 6…e5 7.Nf5 d5 8.Bg5 d4 9.Bxf6 gxf6 10.Nb1 Bxf5 11.exf5 Qd5 and black is a bit better
Personally, I would much rather see longer time games, so we could get much more analysis and depth. I would be happy with times over an hour -- or reviewing the game afterward, so you can take your time -- but even 15 or 30 minutes would be greatly preferred; any lulls you could always edit out. Still, thank you for all your outstanding material.
e5 d5 is such a common important thing with bishops, closing a diagonal is often the best move if it is in service of opening it later, sometimes that isn't possible, then it is usually bad, but that is why principles on their own are never sufficient.
I love playing after watching a Danya vid - my inner monologue going "oooh see - he's just weakened his position there. Common mistake." - then I get checkmate in two 😐😂
I really enjoyed the comparison analysis between the two lines andfrom binging your content you always say to look at a move that in a previous position didnt work. That translates so well to that analysis because the difference between the two positions is so small but makes a world of a difference for knight f5 incredible
I think D5 is a good move avoiding giving up a pawn and a knight for the bishop. If the opponent plays E5 to hit the Knight you put the Knight on the outpost E4 guarded by the pawn and Bishop as well as attack black's E4 pawn.
Absolutely love it when you go deep into the theory. Outstanding example of how to analyze an opening line. I’m currently 2100/2200 strength and have learned so much from your videos. Thank you

Hey, I'm new here ✌🏻. Can somebody explain to me why he is dressed like a pilot and why his name is FrankfurtAirport?😁 Greetings and Merry Christmas to all of you 🎅
Hello Danya, thanks for uploading high quality content. I have been learning a lot with you! If your restart the speed run, would you consider going for a positional repertoire? I think it could be a nice change. My suggestion is: catalan for white, and for black nimzo indian + caro-kann
I’ve watched all of your speedrun videos religiously and I’m proud to say I just won an online game against an opponent 300 rating points higher than myself! Solving tactics regularly combined with your methodical, clear chess reasoning has been the secret sauce I needed. Thanks Danya!
post more bullet brawl videos and titled tuesdays!! They are fun to watch even tho they are 2 hours long. But its content and fun to watch for people who miss the stream!
Babe wake up! New Naroditsky video just dropped!
Thank you Danya for all your effort and for being the best teacher! Merry Christmas !

Waiting. A new Danya video is like the launch of a new tech device.
Once every year 😂 🎉 🔫
😂😂
Even better, because I'm never disappointed with the final product
I hate this board pieces....hope he can change to the previous one...
Dragondorf?! Should be a fun one!

You are so awesome for doing these. Thank you so much man.
Your videos are dopamine shots don't stop man 👍👍
You're the best gm in the world, thank you for teaching us stuff
Thanks Danya. Always a blast buddy!
Just fascinating to get insight into the many intricacies of a chess game. Thank you so much for this unique content 🙏
Love Najdorf but never played it combined with dragon, I'm looking forward to try it out!
This really is a good christmas
New Danya vid just dropped wooohhhh🎉🎉. Btw congrats on the bullet brawl win Danya, you deserved it.
Love your videos GM.Danya.thanks alot
opponent collapsed massively
This is pretty advanced but I still learned from it even though I'm not at this level.
The best Christmas gift. Thank you danya

4:28 the bishop will start to complain 😂
Love it, thanks!
The Dragodorf is an even better name. If they die, they die.
greatest chess teacher on youtube

Played like Petrosian reincarnated! What a game!
I was learning the Najdorf and didn't know what to do against a3... Then this video dropped ❤❤
You're probably memorising more lines than ideas in the opening.
@@musical_lolu4811 In Najdorf both exact lines and ideas are required... Because messing up the move order can completely change the course of the game
Thanks to this video i successfully sacked my rook for a knight in a simular position
danya please continue till 2500

first!
🎄🎉🎊🎍✨🎁🎀
Imagine being called a 2000 when being 2400 hahaha
worst nm i have ever seen
Hands down, my favorite Chess channel.
"Hands Up. Don't checkmate me"
I don’t want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need: a meticulously instructional video on the ‘DragonDorf’ structure by my favorite chess streamer, Daniel Naroditsky.
That rook sacrifice is a game changer. I usually get lost in the middle game and this move I think can help me a lot.
It is a concept you pretty much have to know if you play the Sicilian, there are many positions where the sacrifice is the only viable counterplay against king side attack

This guy is a wizard. He can talk while playing against a national master and beat surgically like a walk in the park
Love the middle game exchange sacrifice concept, thanks!
You are an extremely talented teacher!! And player of course.. don't stop!
I got insulted by 12:05 a lot of people who are newer to chess :d it was exactly what I was thinking about
Danya's voice in my head has taken me well beyond my New Years goal of 1400 to 1700+ Rapid.
29:33 if that wasn't the micro then it was the most hilarious voicecrack I've ever heard 😂
the danya's blessing! inspired i played online rapid right after watching this analysis and stumbled upon the opportunity to sac in the same manner, winning a game
naroditsky eres el mejor enseñando al ajedrez :)
Great analysis, I think speaking for everyone , we want more videos like this.
Extremely instructive!!!
Keep this rooling😊
The Prophet returns just before Christmas!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we got our dose again 🎉
yesss a new video!!
Been playing the dragon (poorly) for 35 years.
I've learned more from this than the last 20 years.
I don't why I heard Welcome to the Jungle... Welcome to the Sicilian baby! You gonna GET CHECKMATED IN THE USUAL FASHION!

Bishop H8 from what I recall is always good if the rook isn't x-rayed by the opponents Bishop.
Imagine losing a game as a 2400, only to have your points refunded like hey new guy, thanks for participating in the speedrun where beginner players get thrashed for educational content purposes.

20:37 if you are struggling to understand when it is good to trade a bishop for a knight - good example

Simply brilliant content!

I love the DragonDorf.. It's also easily merchable in the form of a stuffy.
Struggling as a 1700 that i am to follow everything ar this level but yet It helps a lot. Great content as Always, thanks!!!

Hey Danya, I'm a huge fan. Why don't you play more otb tournaments?
Got to 1800 because of this man
Jesus christ don't play the Dragondorf what is wrong with you
Your opponent must be spewing. It looks like he played really well
weak nm
Why i the actual god damn hell wasn't this recommended to me as soon as it was uploaded xD
"Pins are temporary" just made full-circle sense to me TODAY.
I now get why you say that frequently in your speed runs.
I like the way Danya says “massaging white’s queenside”
Hey, I'm new here ✌🏻.
Can somebody explain to me why he is dressed like a pilot and why his name is FrankfurtAirport?😁
Greetings and Merry Christmas to all of you 🎅
Go back and watch a few of the old videos. They're good and you'll pick up on the nicknacks like that
Great video as always! Nobody can stop you!

Can we request for d4c4 for the last speedrun video? wanna see you play against mainline QGD/KID or others on high level!
I’ve watched all of your speedrun videos religiously and I’m proud to say I just won an online game against an opponent 300 rating points higher than myself! Solving tactics regularly combined with your methodical, clear chess reasoning has been the secret sauce I needed. Thanks Danya!
