For the price drop it is a steal. Unbelievable good built quality. Best part to me are the supro pickups. So much clarity and warmth paired together. Love them more than all the Dimarzios and Seymours i played.
Tried two, one had woodworm holes in the fretboard, the other one had sand dust under the finish and the f hole binding looked like a rat had chewed on it. Both had very high action!
I was tempted by the reduced price so I bought the Tour SS--larger body, single cutaway--otherwise exactly the same appointments. Extremely well built and looks great -----but oh dear those pickups are not to my liking at all. Far too harsh and hot for my taste which is a real shame. I'm not into swapping out pickups especially on a semi hollow so I won't be keeping it.
@@EJBGuitar To each his own. I have four semi hollows--the D'Angelico, a Gibson 335 Dot Reissue, a Guild Starfire and a Tanglewood TSB59. The Tanglewood is the cheapest by a long way but it is my favourite. To my ears it's even more PAF-[ike than the Gibson. I prefer low output, underwound pickups and I would never go near a fuzz. Either clean or just on the edge of breakup via a Zendrive is my "style"-----assuming I have one!
Love the mid forward pickup tone

Definitely…a TON of guitar for the money.
Our tastes in pickups are probably the polar opposites of each other. I hate them!

👀 Strange. Where from? I wonder if some retailers are getting pick of the litter or something…mine was really great out of the box…maybe I got lucky.
I wonder what caused such a big price drop. Look/ sounds like a great guitar.
Great guitar. I think they probably just made too many of them…and they didn’t sell as well as anticipated.

The pickups are one of the main reasons I like mine…nothing like any of the other semi-hollows that I have.
They’re great with fuzz too IMO.

@kingstumble That’s what great about guitar/music…everybody has what they like!
I always said I buy a D Angelico if the got rid of the ugly headstock...I guess I have to live up to my word....lol
😂 guess so!
This demo makes me hate this guitar.
Glad I could help.
What a horrible demonstration!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Not cool dude
