I’ve done that at times, and yes it did help me out, but it was out of necessity, not for life. I know people who’ve done things his way and regretted it. Success isn’t all about money. Yes you have to work hard in life, but have some balance and be successful in all areas, including relationships with those you love, would be my advice. And there’s nothing wrong with my self esteem either.

Yes I agree. Value isn't just defined by money. Memories and quality moments are also important in life, what you do for you family, friends community as well as work. High performers do often work long relentless hours, and prioritise their work in life, however they are making a sacrifice that they deem to be the best option. Your day to day wellbeing should also be some level of success, do you feel in control of your life? Are you confident? Are you optimistic? If I earn loads but die/become ill at 60 because I've stressed myself out too much and burned the candle at both ends, what's the point? Moderation/Temperance is a virtue.

Yes money is important but at the same time living your life is crucial rather then running behind materialistic things. Love this and thank you. I work 14-16 hours a day almost 7 days a week. No one is going to tell me I cannot succeed. The mindset is strong. Now I am getting into politics and the hate is strong here in Canada. Well the hate just feeds my passion to push forward as the snowflakes melt away. If you are able to provide an adequate lifestyle I honestly don't see the problem with hanging out with friends and enjoying time. Not all time has to be "money".
