As we went to Cherrapunjee in december, the falls were almost dry but the weather was very clear and for that we ended up walking on the riverbed of 7 sisters falls.It was in the beautiful Eco Park from where the 7 sister falls jumps downwards to make it look stunning.You can spend a whole day out here with your friends and family with seperate children play zones.One can have a beautiful view of the vast stretch of Khasi hills from here.

Go to the ECO PARK at rainy season.....you will be surprised by the cloudy view. you will be not able to see anything for a while because of the cloud. But after a few seconds everything looks like heaven . TRY THIS ON SUMMER OR RAINY

I went to Meghalaya in the month of december...It was cold, clear blue sky, lovely weather but almost no water in the falls.

We went in the month of May. ..full monsoon time. We enjoyed live falls in Cherapunjj and Shillong. ...very niceeeeeeeee. .greenery, river and waterfalls. ...it's just like the Heaven. ..

Sohra is the original name not cherrapunji. Im from shillong and sohra is my great great grand parent's place. You need to correct this.

Arijit Ganguly it’s a bit late but I’d like to clarify it anyway. Cherrapunji is a name given by the British during their stay at Sohra when GB was ruling India. Originally, it is Sohra and that’s is why, it hurts the local people to call the place they call their own by a duplicate name given by outsiders. At least that’s what I know.
