Last month skating my favorite place

Been building at and skating this place since 2000. We’ve referred to it as Brooks, but it’s at St Claire Brooks Memorial Park. Somehow they allowed us to make all this stuff. There will be a concrete park here about a month after I type this up. That was always the goal from the start. Grateful for what these ramp did for me and happy to have helped get the new park up. All that stuff

It's always nice to see a DIY spot become an official park, but at the same time it will never feel the "same." I totally get ya, glad you got one last good session on it.

My buddy would drive the crew to Brooks and Curtis in his big red pickup truck every weekend or so. Sometimes we’d go skate the UPS loading docks, too. Good times in the early 2000s.
