That Jaguar V12 growl is unique and unmistakable. I could listen to it all day.

So could we! It was a pleasure to see this driver getting out there and using the car for what it was meant for on this weekend.

That’s the most angry V12 I’ve ever heard. The Jaguar XJS is a thing of beauty. What a stunning British bruiser. 👍

I remember arriving trackside at Mt Panorama in 1985. It was a mid-week practice session with only a few cars on track including that screaming V12 Jag making it's way up Mountain Straight. OMG that sound. Hearing it takes me right back to that day. Goosebumps.

I get tingles every time I see that thing run in anger.
the 1985 Bathurst 1000 was the single best motor race ever bah none.
I was 15 at the time n from a motoring family, n just getting into cars n sat down n watched most motorsports [ only 4 channels back then.. lol]
watched that entire race on the 63cm TV,
[ whole weekend back then, practice , qualifying, top 10 , the world stopped those weekends each october] n it was a corker from the morning start til that ripper of a finish.didnt take my eyes off the screen
what a winner. what a time
its a literal chore to see what's become of racing nowadays

I believe the speed limit is 55mph. He is in danger of getting a speeding ticket and no muffler will get written up too. If people would leave the house a few minutes earlier, there would be no reason to rush.
