Man. You're speaking my language with all those people you named. No rum doesn't get enough credit. I bought a CD of them live in London and it was excellent. They did a thin Lizzy song if memory serves me. Love me some slinky short scale guitar playing! Especially my LP jr at a hobby scale with 10s turned to D.
Hey Leon. Did you ever think of disecting and posting how Neal Schon plays his classic pentatonic lick? He uses it in 80% of his songs, it’s unique, very fast, and almost impossible to learn correctly by ear.
Leon, I know you're a fan, so I'm saying this in a friendly way, but you left out Randy Rhoads as not only a Master at tasty Pentatonic licks, but also in adding outside notes to spice up the Scale to give it much more personality ! :) And since we're talking about John Norum, I love John Norum as well for continuing that awesome style that Schenker and Rhoads popularized in seamlessly fusing Pentatonic licks and ideas with Classical modes and harmonic structure ♫
You had me at “Sykes”...
Great video!

Hey LT!
May want to run a hi-pass filter on your mic, we are picking up tons of bass from trucks and who knows what else around you. very distracting.
Living on a corner has it's downsides. Usually Izotope RX catches all that
