What if it's like X&Y where you get to pick two starters The first one from a non Kalos starter trio with a regional final evolution And the second one from the Kalos starter trio with Mega Evolution Doesn't make sense to not give Megas to the starters of the region of origin
I feel like the formula be similar. We get new regional starters in the beginning, then when we reach the professor instead of getting charmander and others, we will get the Kalos starters with Megas instead in replace.
@@akhila2521 yeah I know what you meant. I’m saying the same thing too because I have a strong belief like you that’s how they gonna pay homage to the X and Y games and bring out their suppose finish vision for those games. If they reuse the Kalos starters I would want them to represent new D&D Classes. Greninja goes from Rogue to fighter. Delphox goes from wizard to sorcerer or bard Chesnaught goes from paladin to Barbarian or cleric
Yeah that's what I was thinking. Magical Girl Delphox. The main reason why people didn't like Delphox is because it lost the cuteness it had in fenekin and braixen.
When you think about it, you'd expect the Kalos starters to have been given megas all the way back in x and y. I guess they're just correcting their mistakes with ZA.
Thing is it wasn't just Khu. It has always been a group of chinese leakers including Khu. Now Khu has effrctively been replaced and therefore he's just a troll trolling all the chumps who still believe/follow him.
I've been trying to give Khu the benefit of the doubt, especially since he did get the mythical mystery gift and the shiny Rayquaza event right. But if he's still got a source they seem to know nothing on Z-A
Maybe it could be a dark witch variant. I’d like to see a type combo that hasn’t been used in a fire starter before though, maybe fire poison? Anyway, I agree with the reply. Delphox being on all 4s wouldn’t really make sense, the regional variants are meant to resemble the Pokémon but with a different style.
I think people liked fenekin initially primarily because it was cute. I remember it was the most liked starter when Gen 6 was first revealed. I did as well and I thought it was going to be the first time I picked a fire starter at the start of a pokemon Gen (I ended up picking frokie). Braixen seemed to be pretty popular too as it got a slot on Pokken Tournament, so I don't think it's necessarily an "all fours" issue with this line; just a purely cuteness issue. When it evolved to Delphox it lost it's cuteness and everyone dropped the whole line and went to Greninja instead. If they are keeping the Warrior, Rogue, Mage, theme, I think a Delphox variant would be better as a Fire/Fairy Magical Girl esque pokemon instead. Still keeping with the mage theme and also keeping the cuteness it lost in it's original witch form.
@@lewis9950 Yeah, I can agree with that. The regional variants of the starters don’t necessarily have a huge impact on the way they move per se. It’s usually applied to their designs. If Delphox had a variant keeping the theme of a magician, it should take on a more wizardly look perhaps. I don’t know what’s opposite of a wizard/ witch if they made them opposing counters of one another. A knight perhaps?
Ninjas and Samurais are two completely different things... I also don't think it would make sense for Legends-Kalos to have a different name. It was fitting with Hisui, because Hokkaido, the region Sinnoh/Hisui is based off of, had a different name too.
Ttar this is the re beautification and repair this takes place in present day or future none of what the trailer shows suggests it’s at all in the past
According to Pokemon starters theory for Pokemn Legends:Z-A, will they gain regional or mega evolution? Fenniken final evolution regional form-(Fire/Fairy) Chespin final evolution regional form-(Grass/Steel) Froakie final evolution regional form-(Water/Dark) It will be so cool to getting alternative evolution for starters.
What about battle bond? It's just a form for Ash, which was part of a prophecy in the anime and nothing to do with the games, but now you got me imagining what if Z-A gives battle bond for all the starters?
@@TavanomgI had that thought when legends Arceus released and when talk about legends for differences games came up… you wouldn’t have access to a mega stone since they’d likely be much more rare but you’d use the bond phenomenon. I just thought it would be cool that it just randomly activated in an intense battle. Bit they also completely got rid of the Ash Greninja form and changed the ability of battle bond out of nowhere when Scarlet and Violet released. It could be how the Kalos starters work, because the initial starters get a Kalos regional with a mega, then later you can choose between a Fennekin Froakie or Chespin and that’s where they could introduce it as it would be later in the game.
The Annihalape mega confirmed tweet was about the mega logo being mistakenly added to its ability in the picture, making it seem like it's going to mega evolve in the battle.
or, what if they just shift the alt typing of the starters. Evil wizard Delphox that is Fire Dark, some kind of Zen Turtle type thing that is Grass Psychic and then a Samurai frog that is Water Fighting
a popular theory rn is the Z-A is not set in the past but the future. if that is to be taken into account, it would make sense that the starters would be the same. in arceus, the region didn't have a pre-set of starters and that's why we got the random ones that we did. if Z-A is set in the future, and kalos already having its starter trio, the starters could be the same but instead of only changing their final evos, the whole line is different due to change in the region.
Pretty sure it will be like X&Y where you get two starters. I think we will get megas for Kalos starters plus a set of kalosian final forms of other starters.
Man, Khu has gone off the deep end, he lost all credibility, if these do end up true, he got it lucky, he doesn't know what he is saying, but I hold a grain of salt if its true or not tbh
What if the "Kalosian" starters are regional variants from the first evolution stage, and the professor imported from differnt regions, so they have different typings? So say, a Water typed Chespin, Grass typed Fenniken, and Fire typed Froakie?
I would love to have reginal forms for a "random" set of starters, but I do think the Kalos starters getting Megas is the most likely option. Or at least it makes just as much sense as having any other set of starter combinations.
i just don’t think it’ll be the normal kalos becuase if you remember your friend gave you those the actual professer gave you a kanto starter if i’m wrong then somone can let me know it’s been a minute since i played
I feel like they’re taking this game on with the intention of making X and Y what it was supposed to be. X and Y got pushed out as an unfinished game and a lot of the story with volcanian, the 9 ft alien AZ and his floette that would know light of ruin, Zygarde actually coming out and saving the world/balancing just like Rayquaza, etc. because all the 3D modeling ate up tons of time and they had to put out something unfinished. So maybe with this game there will be a bigger emphasis on Kalos’ lore that was never seen in the 3DS that can be even more powerful on the switch 2 with storytelling and raw volume of information
Tbh all i want from the game is to make all previous generations available to catch, or similar to sword and shield have the old pokemon and give some reigonal variants or give zygarde two complete forms. And who knows you may be able to receive diancie or shiny hunt it, if they make it a wild encounter.
I doubt the kalos starters will get regional forms in ZA it would more likely they get megas. However I would love a second group of starters that get regional forms.
The starters will be the original kalos starter. The only difference is they all have mega evolution. We’ll get maybe a new legendary or two but other than that there will be zero new pokemon or regional forms. There will be a large handful of new mega evolutions. Come back to this comment in a month or so and tell me I’m right
I mean if it is just the kalos starters it would make sense as it seems kalos is already an established region at the time of the game so it could be that the starters are already established in kalos at the time. The reason there was different starters in arceus was because they were taken from different places because they hadn’t explored sinnoh to discover chimchar turtwig and piplup so it would make sense but it would be kind of lame
Re-using Kalos starters isn’t a bad idea as long as other starters are available in the game. With Arceus having random starters makes sense because it was the very start of human and pokemon interacting. It’s likely they just had 3 pokemon available. In the future the starters are always the same, they are established as starters. If ZA is in the future then it would make even more sense for the starters to stay the same.
I think people who are stuck on this game being in the ancient past are just wrong. To me, it makes more sense for it to be in the recent future, exploring what happens to the region after Lysandre fire the ultimate weapon again. After all, the proposed theory in game is that the firing if the ultimate weapon created the mega stones somehow, and that happened way in the past. Makes sense we would get new megas and regionals after it was fired recently
Its possible that ZA isn't set in the ancient past like Legends Arceus and is set in a point in time that the Kalos Starters have been finalized to what they are in X and Y
Pokémon Legends Arceus starters weren't random though... real-world Hokkaido was home to the Ainu tribe (that the Sinnoh tribe is loosely based on) whose religion believed that spirits would take the forms of animals such as owls, bears and otters. So the starters have more to do with the Ainu than modern Sinnoh. Not really sure that not-so-distant past Kalos would really need to be all that different from modern Kalos though in terms of starters.
i’ll say this. the kalos starters were ROBBED OF A MEGA IN THEIR OWN GEN. so, if we just get the same starters again, but they are given megas, im happy.
