    I have once repaired one of these. All it needed was a new capacitor on the F/B motor.

    Nice video and ,Claw catching strength / power is looks very low , make a little bit increase ( The claw relay or solenoid works with 48v dc ) , thers an option give near main board to increase the power with potentiometer. than it can catch the heavy toys.

    I have the same claw machine. I’m looking to get new locks for it. Where’d you get them from and what size locks did you need?

    Very good video. I love the "in for the long hail" style videos. I have this same machine (rebranded as a "Talon"), but I ran into a problem with the automatic claw strength. When I turned that mode on, the claw would not close at all when it was supposed to close at full strength. Does that work on yours? I've never heard anyone else discuss it.
    I've also got a repair video of this machine on my channel, you may enjoy giving it a watch.

      Never worked on those, but on mine there are dip switches and knobs that adjust that

    Oh man I was hoping this one would have the Bill Acceptor.
    I have bought 2 bill acceptors and both do not work as they have the wrong molex connectors.
    Do you know what kind of bill acceptor would of gone into this claw machine?
    The front piece also does not fit either there is huge gaps when I even try to mount it too.
    And if you are not sure I think I may hit up the technician of the claw machine as well.
    I also got mine broken and it only had the coin slots.
    I have it fixed up and working although it will randomly not close sometimes. :|

      @@PhillipsVision Yes it is a Treasure Chest that is almost pirate themed as it has a glittery chest on both sides and glitter letters that spell out Treasure Chest.

    Wow! This is a great video and gives a ton of information. I just purchased this exact machine at an auction. I got lucky in that it seems to be mostly working. I am getting the 8805 error code just as you showed in your video. Do you happen to have the owners manual and schematic that you can share? Also, where is the best place to purchase the microcontroller that you replaced to fix the 8805 error?

    • @PhillipsVision
      @PhillipsVision  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can pick up the micro switches online on eBay, Amazon etc. I have a manual and troubleshooting guide that one of the technicians that worked on these sent me. Where do you want it emailed?

    • @kuc28
      @kuc28 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think I have it pretty much working now. I had to reglue down one of the rubber bumpers in the back so that it depressed the microcontroller button so that it recognized when it hit the end. My next issue is when the crane moves left to right, the front and back do not stay square. Have you come across this issue before? Also, how do you change the claw strength (to increase the success rate)? Did you get a chance to send the troubleshooting and manual? Thanks.

    • @PhillipsVision
      @PhillipsVision  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kuc28 I have not experienced the centering of the claw issue. To adjust the claw there is a small dial on the main board. Turning that will increase the claw strength. There are also dip switch setting for other adjustments. I did not send the manuals since I did not receive your email address.
