Gawd Almighty that looked like a tarpon crushing that bait cuz!!! That was awesome when she was straight up and down that could have been a big ol Red snapper offshore!! That was a UBoat version striper right there😂 Nice work getting her boatside. Great video cuz glad you're back!
@@lanierkayakbassfishing7950 appreciate you too brother you brighten my day with vids and yeah those big scaleys as we call them when they're above 15 to 20 pounds are powerhouses! Have a great day my good friend
I have been told all Lanier stripers are stocked as the eggs will not hatch in the lake. This is why catch and release is so important on these fish. Is this true??
I'm sure they stock all kinds of fish in lanier. But the population is insanely huge and healthy. They definitely Spawn in the lake. Lanier is a super healthy ecosystem
@ I went striper fishing on Lanier with a guide and he said that they were all stockers. I guess he’s just protecting his livelihood. He wanted us to release all the stripers. We could keep the spots.
They are just sharing it I believe man. It's not their original content so I don't think they can profit off my videos. I appreciate you brother I really do thank you for telling me
Hell yeah brother!! It's ALWAYS a blast catching those big stripers like that, it put a ton of bend in that rod
Look forward to it all year. Nothing like getting on those topwater schools

Another bad ass video ! I was out there for about 1.5 hours in the rain today to didn’t catch anything , trying again tomorrow!
Gotta stay persistent and confident you get on some fish eventually. It's how I do it. Hope you find some striper!
Old man and the sea!! Fun to watch
Very much so! Perfect reference!
And in the rain. Epic. 😎👍
The rain was the cherry on top dude
@ For sure! Tight lines, bro!
Seen those houses and know exactly where you're at good fish. Congratulations
That's what I love about lanier. Everyone knows it! Thanks man
Keep em coming! What a joy to watch!
Ever since that last heavy rain they quit biting I don't know what it is
I love your content, I wanna see your page continue to grow and get bigger & bigger.
I appreciate you man. God willing it'll continue to grow
Topwater stripers are my ATF freshwater fish besides the trout family. You handled him perfectly.
Going from striper to trout back to largemouth and spotted bass back to trout is fun. Downsizing and still having a blast
That's a nice one. Good job
He went nuts on that lure
Nice dude congrats
Really nice fish in your picture man!
Love it!
That gets intense. Had my adrenaline goin

She's a beauty!
Yes she was! Gotta love catching those biggens this time of year
What was that you caught him on? I Love it when the stripes are up top like that. My go-to is always the Berkeley Walker.
They wouldn't even look at a topwater or any other lure the past week I switched to a subsurface lure called a magic swimmer by sebile
I'm going to have to give that a try. I have been stubbornly just exercising my arm with the topwater baits lately 🤣
Was that you today on the north end of the hootch
Yea this was right in front of laurel park boat ramp. They have been running really good around Clark's Bridge on the overcast and rainy days
Nice pond donkey!
You know it! Gotta love em
Nice!!!!
Such good fishing
💯🤙
That's the good stuff right there
I need to come fish with you
That fishing was really good before that heavy rain came in last. Fishing is hit or miss in winter
Theres a page on Facebook stealing your videos bro
And Instagram. One of the vids has 17k likes! I'm not a bot dude I'm really trying to help you bc I love your channel

These always remind me of white bass we have here in Wisc.,........except THESE guys are on steroids!
These fish are total freaks aren't they
That was some sick-a$$ coverage
I try and capture the essence!
