I tested mine out today too Tom! How did you prime yours? The syringe was a little slow and messy. I had a hard time clearing out the honey at the end, and felt like I wasted dome while cleaning it out.

I poured the bottle to the tube very slow to allow the air to exit out the top. Yes, I had a little mess at first, until I learned to stop priming an inch from the top of the tube.

@@Mackabees Yeah, I ordered ball valves to add to my bottling tank so I can easily hook up the Easy Fill attachment to it with honey still in it. That seems like a less messy option.

What temperature is the honey when you are bottling with this pump?

@@MackabeesThanks, Tom. Have you pumped honey at any temperatures lower than that? Have you had experience with the pump not having the power to pump honey at any temperature?

They stated it can pump cream honey. I have not tried it. Some crystalized in the pump had no issues.

@@Mackabeesmine is apparently the same unit but a Vevor. It won't pump 26c liquid honey. It struggles then resets.

@@Mackabees We’ve pumped freshly churned creamed honey at room temperature (~70f) and it works very well. Faster than the gate for sure. In general we’ve found it pumps well in temps 70f - 90f. At warmer temps it tends to splash/spray and you end up with a lot of air bubbles / foam. Great little machine overall at a very reasonable price compared to the competition.
