My oldest Son grabbed me in the kitchen to dance. We two stepped around the kitchen. He said "dang Mother, we still got it" and I laughed. 2 weeks later my healthy 32 year old child, went to sleep and never woke up. Please dance every moment you can. I hold onto that beautiful memory until we can dance again.

Why do we sit at home (or anywhere) overcome by thoughts of evil doings (bad news), when we could be literally loving music and life and love and expressing it in dance, (together or alone)?
We could kick off our shoes and let the rhythms take over, move in whatever way feels right.
It doesn't matter if you are tone deaf or you have two left feet or can't 'dance'... anyone can move to music and why should we feel that it is socially unnaceptable to move in any way that feels good?
You don't need 'professional' dance moves to love music.
I can't dance or even keep rhythm all the time, I have physical restrictions, but even I can move to music in a comfortable way, that expresses my joy in music and life and myself.

My daughter just recently turned 18. When this song came out he was just out of preschool I will tell you what the song she would go and put her purple dress on we would then proceeded to move the furniture in the basement and we would have this video playing on TH-cam 0 bouncing off the walls floating on air!!! And she would just bring it up in the middle of anything and she'll be like Mom what am I doing on the walls??? And I would say bouncing off the walls and you're floating on air she would just close her eyes and her big dimples would just fill her soul. I'm praying that I haven't lost any moments or that little girl I know she just turned 18 but it's been a hard road music is something I always connected myself and my children with so when I listen to this it's very bittersweet. But I still can't get the thought of that precious girl in her purple dress do when her daughter is to help me move that futon so we can dance our hearts out❤

Everytime I hear this song it takes me back to the early morning of January 26 2011. My sister and I were laying in bed with our mother between us, we had just told her it was okay to go home and be with her parents. We would take care each other..
