Hi, I wanna ask if you know what kind of safety valve use for the air compressor in iCE 3000 atomic absorption spectrometer. Thanks *** there is an air leakage in safety valve of the air compressor . Can you help me or give me some advice how to fix it.

+zq123456 It really depends on the size of the Check Valve that's in question, but you can certainly find out what the maximum SCFM flow of each valve is by visiting Conrader's website, below: conrader.com/products_intankcheck_info.php You can see in the charts provided, the SCFM rating for each type of Check Valve (Conrader is one of our major Check Valve suppliers).

I have a compressor that the reed valve bad cause you can hear pressure bleeding back into the compressor or so i thought im assuming its this parts have failed ... But even if not this could fix my issue
Exactly. If the compressor leaks at all after the unit shuts off (assuming there is air in the tank, of course) then your check valve needs to be replaced. I would start there, either by attempting to clean the check valve or replacing it, as this is the problem 99% of the time.
Typically this is due to a few different possible issues: 1. The oil fill plug vent is clogged, so that the crankcase can't breathe. 2. Too much oil in the crankcase. 3. Reed Valves in the pump head are defective/sticking (most likely), which is causing too much positive pressure to be built up in the crankcase. Most likely it's problem# 3, which we typically see. I would rule out #'s 1 and 2 first, of course. If the oil plug vent is free (you should be able to blow through the vent) and the oil level if okay, you will then need to remove the pump head and inspect the metal reed valves (typically they're reed-shaped valves, although it varies by make and model). Most likely there is either carbon build-up, rust or something that is not allowing the valves to open and close over the ports in the valve plate like they should. I'm not familiar with the Power Craft brand but these tips will suffice for any air compressor, generally speaking.

How does it go together, the inside, plug springs, took mine apart, plug was side way and two springs inter twined
Hi. What kind of plug do I need to block the unloader port on my check valve? A standard 1/8” NPT male doesn’t seem to thread properly.

I have a power craft compressor when I turn it on it powers up then the oil filler cap blows off. any ideas please
