- We’ve been on the Warner Bros Studio Tour before and love it, but we’ve never been on the Warner Bros Deluxe Studio Tour. The tour includes a 3 hour guided tour of the Warner Bros backlot (compared to the 1 hour on the regular tour) as well as a casual breakfast, fine dining in the WB Commissary, a snack and drink at Central Perk, a visit to the prop department and the costumer department and of course the self guided museum walkthrough experience.

Deep cut
We went on this tour (regular not VIP) instead of buying Universal passes last year. 3 hours later we were buying Universal passes 1 hour before closing. Studio merch and tours are the rage in the SoCal.

Hi Peter and Kitra. Wonderful video. Glad you both enjoyed the tour. I've wanted to do the VIP tour at Universal for a long time but the WB deluxe tour looks amazing and so fun that you can do the walk around and view so many areas. Too bad the you couldn't film but the photos are great! Hope you both have a good week.

Thanks Dawn! It’s a real working commissary so I think you can ask for modifications and they would make you a meal low sodium. I don’t know this for sure but I would expect it to be the case.

I did the regular tour last September, and it was so much fun. Didn't get to see as many of the buildings due to filming, but still had a great time.

Amazing video. I love working at the lot and seeing tourists coming in for the tours. I only did 2 tours around 10 years ago when we did a Chuck only tour (Zachary Levi’s show). We got to bump into Zack and checked out all locations from the show. We also got to watch Zach film a scene at Gate 3 parking structure, before the series ended.
Glad you had a great time and had lots of fun seeing these historical filming in person.

I went on the Plus tour on 1/28 with my family and we loved it! We were blown away. So cool. Loved the props department! We didn’t get to see the costume department or some of the houses you did. I definitely thought our tour was worth the money. I would go back and take the Deluxe.

Wow amazing tour! I’ve only been on the regular WB tour and loved that alone so excited to try the deluxe someday. For the filming I saw on their website you can submit a request to film, it’s called a “media request.” Hopefully for a future vlog on WB tour, you’ll be able to film if they allow it. We got to in 2021 so they probably changed policy coming into this year. Anyways, great video, thanks for sharing. 😊

This tour is so cool! I'm a big Friends fan and I would've loved to take my picture at the Friends fountain and inside of Central Perk. I definitely need to check this tour out one day.

Thanks for showing the Deluxe tour! I'm always curious about those. I did the regular tour in 2022 and we got to do almost everything you guys did. We didn't get free food or go in as many buildings, but we got to wander the backlot a lot and go into a few facade houses and sound stages. We lucked out because our tour guide was amazing. I've been doing WB studio tours since the early 2000's, but this was the first time I had ever been in the prop department. The Friends fountain and couch photo op was new too. WB has stepped up their studio tour game 10/10 highly recommend. Also if anyone does do the regular tour just know it's a roll of the dice in terms of what the guides choose to show you. If you tell them you're a fan of a certain show most guides will tailor their tour to the group. I geeked out over Lucifer and while we were walking around she showed me their parking spaces that were still left behind. Haha
Even the standard tour is awesome. The real difference is you get 3 hours guided tour of the backlot instead of 1 hour.
I follow Adam because I saw him on Daze with Jordan, and now I am following you because I have seen you on Adam the Woo. And I have to tell you each of you actually have your own style in your videos is unique. Keep kill'n it! God bless! (Love Daphne-Bell too!).

Have fun on your trip. I’d reccomend even the standard wb tour which I think is $60 or so. It’s well worth it
This is my absolute favorite thing to do when I'm in SoCal! Went a few years back they did a thing where they will CG you on a harry potter broom. It was so fun!

Thank you so much for doing this. We did the Warner Brother's tour this summer and I've forgotten 80% of what you're highlighting. It was a very good tour except we went when it was 92 degrees (felt like 100) and the amount of walking off the tram was kind of exhausting.
Yeah it’s a lot of concreate and very little shade. I wouldn’t do it on a hot day.
Wow! I had no idea there was a Deluxe Tour!! Thank you for sharing!! So cool you get “Fine Dining”…it’s so nice that Universal VIP & Warner Deluxe give you all food, whereas Disney probably charge the most, and you don’t get free food.
They just came out with it in the last year or so. But yeah I wouldn’t do it for the food, the three hour guided tour of the lot was awesome though

I recommend everyone at least experience the standard wb tour. It’s great. The extended deluxe one is awesome for a film and tv fanatic who can afford it

I love that it just so happens to be 8 stairs, when 7 stairs is the ceiling before a stuntman is needed. That to me seems like some good purposeful lookin out between two fields in the industry.

Wow! What a neat tour! I'd definitely like to do that some time. I actually lived in Burbank until I was about 10 years old. In fact, the last time we were in the area, we stopped by my childhood home and discovered it was mere blocks away from the Warner Bros Studio. I don't think I was aware of that at the time! I do remember frequently being driven past the Disney Studios with the building that has statues of the seven dwarfs carved into it, however.

We went on this tour last Thursday. It was great! We both said the $300 for both of us was well worth it. I’d recommend for sure. Oh and we had Ken for our tour guide and he was awesome.
The luncheon is just ok but that wasn’t the reason for going.

When we went on the regular tour a few years ago, they had the actual coffee shop set from "Friends" which had the actual couch used in the show. We were allowed to sit on it and the tour guide took our picture. We accessed the set from inside the prop warehouse, which we were also allowed to go through. Across from the prop warehouse was another warehouse which in one side the had the Ford Gran Torino from the movie of the same name. Plus they had the R.C. Batmobile which was used for stunts, like when it was driving and flipping around in the parking garage scene. Next to it, they had a room with other movie cars in it, like the Batmobile you saw in the in the Batman exhibit, plus the Scooby-Do van and ofcourse a general Lee. I do think that either some of the houses on the lot were from the WB Ranch, and the fountain in the park used in "Friends" was also at the WB Ranch. It's good they didn't destroy everything at the Ranch. In those houses across from the town square, we got to go through atleast one of them and on the backside of one of those houses was the front for Uncle Jessie's house on the "Dukes Of Hazard".
On the tour we were allowed to sit in on a dress rehearsal of "The New Adventures Of Old Christine".
I'm sure they change the tours once in awhile, but in choosing which tour we wanted to go on was that they had the lunch break in the middle of the tour. It didn't seem worth it. I think we went everywhere you went on our regular tour.
One of my old customers and his brother grew up on the WB lot. Their father, personally hired by Jack L. Warner's wife, ran the executive dining room. They got to work as extras on lots of movies and TV shows. The brother became a well-known Hollywood make-up artist for multiple studios.

Answering a few questions: No videos bc someone could record crew talking about story lines. No photos of hold tags bc it has personal cell phones/ prod numbers on them. As someone who was harassed by a "fan" about where a couch came from on one of my shows, I appreciate they do this now.

Just came from doing the studio tour plus which is 1 hour shorter, and getting to see the costume department sounds really cool!!! Wish to have seen that one. We did go to two sound studios instead of one so that was really cool :)
I think how many soundstages you go in really is dependent on current production. Sometimes you go in no active soundstages.
I was there the same time you guys were there. Saw you guys walk in but too scared to say hi lol. Depends on the guide because I was able to film everything! Including the prop and costume department

So I guess when I did the regular WB tour a few years ago we had an amazing tour guide. We had the last tour of the day and we saw everything except costumes. We even got to get off in Everytown!

Got the CTE teacher experience of the place last June and was aloud to walk on to the studio lot unaccompanied. Talk about, “living the dream.”

I was working on the second season of Winning Time at Warner Bros. studios for the last few months and I was actually part of the tour a few times. It felt kind of weird, but pretty cool at the same time when the tour guests on the golf carts would drive by and they would gawk at us and take pictures. I offered to give an autograph one time, but there were no takers. :(

I went on a tour at a salt mine in Hutchison, Kansas. I believe it's the largest salt mine in the United States.
Saw some movie props, costumes (Mr. Freeze costume, Batman, etc.). I guess the mine leases storage (long term storage) to Warner Bros and other companies.
