Thank you for revisiting this pedal/amp in a box. I got this after your first vlog and wasn’t successful in getting the tones that you did in this vlog. But I didn’t plug into an interface (straight into an amp) and used a Yamaha Revstar for my axe. Now I have a roadmap to follow. I do wish I could go straight into amp because I like to mic my amps for recording but hey, whatever works. Thanks again John!
I bought one last month after watching your videos. I don’t regret. Sounds good. And cheap. Thanks for the tip 🎉 but I still have a nasa Mission Control pedalboard ….
I bought the pedal after the initial review and it displaced both my Boss DS-1 and ODB-3 as given the 4 combinations it does everything I need (also have a boost pedal on the board) and using the volume control in the fashion that John is always highlighting then that's plenty enough.

A nice look at how you figured out the pedal, getting all the tones you want and need. They sound very Marshally, btw!
Thank you for the video, John!
Jims45 and Combo Deluxe '65 sound great. Got a little Origin 5 combo I like a lot but those pedals are on my radar.

Out of interest,John, what would be your settings on a Marshall style amp?
I usually like everything pretty close to 12 o'clock & just tweak from there. Not too much bass though as it tends to get a bit muddy in a mix 👍
@JRobsonGuitar Thanks,John
Nice pedal. If I didn't already have a Freidman amp, I'd go with something like that to get a Marshall type sound. Cheers!
Comparison with the Blu was interesting. Though the Blu edged it for me but not by much. For the money the Jims pedal looks like quite a buy.
Agreed. If I didn't have the Blu, this would do me fine 👍
Sounds great. Is the BluGuitar worried about being fired?
Nah 😁
