Hello Robert, I'm a beginning meledeon player and what amazed me the most was your total left hand right hand independance both in melody and rhythm. Bravo! Cheerful tune this one.
I have been away from the concertina world for several years now but have in the pasrt atended a workshop run by Tim Laycock, a really excellent player. I have a few of his tunes on my ipod. I am in Liverpool and also play a simple version of Liberty Belle myself. Cheers!
It is a 72 Cranes Patent duet made by Crabb. I have seen a lot of your videos which are excellent. I don’t play any more and my few videos were made a long time ago.
You are a hell good The Duet Concertina player!!!! And your Crane Duet if it's Crane sounds wonderfully! How many buttons have you got? I play Hayden Duet Concertina 52 Buttons 23 on the left side, 29 on the right. Keep apploading videos, please!
The duet concertina has notes to play in all keys (but not in my hands!). I think this piece is in key F so your anglo may be a B flat and F instrument?

Absolutely wonderful on the ear.
This tune is played so pleasantly that I just have to bring up the video every couple of days and listen to it!
Great playing!!! 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hé bien... que rajouter de plus? Très brillante démonstration. Merci beaucoup pour ce pur moment de bonheur :o)
That is wonderful. A great demonstration of the duet system. Thanks!

Hello,
Yes, its similar to a piano in that the two hands are meant to work independently.
This is what a concertina should sound like!--not all that athletic Irish stuff--lets have more !

Its a 72 key Crane Duet, not the same as an English.
