Bro seriously- THANK YOU for making this. This is hands down the most comprehensive and easily digestible explanation of guards, open closed and the differences in lengths I’ve ever come across. That chart showing the lengths and how the overlap is the best thing of its kind on the internet right now. I’ve asked this question to so many barbers, and have watched so many videos claiming to explain this only to have my questions remain unanswered. Seriously so grateful you made this. And giving it away for free! Thank you so much. Can’t say that enough. Not all heroes wear capes. 🙏🙏🙏
Nice little nugget to slow down doing clipper over comb.Sometimes when you watch people do it so fast you try to mimic the movement but it’s key to crawl before you walk.👌
This is GOLDEN! Beginner just starting at Great Clips, day 3 after being thrown to the wolves, this has answered every question/problem I’ve came against while cutting. Thank youuu!
Eddie a goat for this one 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 …. Nobody explained and broke shit down like this … only thing I would say would beat it , if actually put somebody in the chair and went detail for detail …
Hey, what’s up Eddie? Glad to see you still doing your thing I still watch your channel. I still learn from you. Love the passion love the consistency and I love the dedication .
Excellent video!!!! Thank you for all your efforts in the barber industry. So happy I’m a member. I’m not trippin on watching over an hour of some straight shooting fire. Thanks for walking through the fade and what problems you might experience in a cut. I just used your techniques yesterday for a cut with a bunch of dark spots in the head. Came out just like you said. Appreciate all your time and your knowledge 🔥 🔥
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER? Where do i pay? I’ve been in this industry for over 20 something years and now I’m a barber instructor. Plus still working behind the chair. You are refreshing my memory and exciting my passion all over again but I love the way you teach how do I become a member?
Just make sure they are further back than your sharp liner and you are good, stylecraft trimmers have a soft setter and a zero gapper its pretty cool and easy to use. it comes with a few different trimmers.
No 1.5 is a separate card. It can also be opened and closed. There is no such thing is opening a one and turning it into a one and a half check out the scales section of the video

How back do you set your soft trimmer??

Hi. I'm considering JRL FreshFade 2020C or BaByliss FX8700E for at-home haircuts. Can you advise what would be a better choice?
Name of the clipper at 7:55? Just starting to cut hair really looking for a clipper with a click lever system.
Stylecraft - Rebel. It’s a good clipper
Great content you are my teacher not my barber school teacher 😂
Ohh, a 1/2 GUARD 😊
Instinct X or Boosted?
Both great options, but I kind of do seem to favor the instinct
How do we know if it's at a 1.5 position ? Is it a # 1 and set in between open and close ?
No 1.5 is a separate card. It can also be opened and closed. There is no such thing is opening a one and turning it into a one and a half check out the scales section of the video
Doing this as a side hustle untill i find a class that fits my schedule
