I've been journaling for almost 6 months straight now, and I've been writing down everything that I did in every single day. Recently, I've been transitioning away from "Logging" my days, as my mom calls it. Now i am trying a new way to journal, summarizing the day, what I learned from it, how it went, and any other interesting or relevant information that the future me might like to read about. A takeaway from what I have done is that journaling is not "logging" or writing down everything that happened every day. Journaling is something that is a lot different from that. I'm normally a mentally unpredictable person, but ever since I started journaling, I've been consistently happier and more mentally stable. I really like the rules that you have created for your journaling, they are very thoughtful and smart. I wish you luck on your journaling adventure, and have a great time!
Thanks for sharing your story, yeah journaling really helps one organize his thoughts. For me it’s more of writing experiences and plans, not just how my day went, I could go into more details of a particular event or thought I had during the day. This is good. Yeah thanks
