Today's video I'm sharing this east crown braids for Spring & Summer. I think they're so pretty and feminine, and great as prom hairstyles, Wedding hairstyles, Graduation hairstyles, & any event.
This one is a particular favourite because it's easier than most, and the dutch braiding allows for your braid to be nice and chunky which you guys know I love.

So dutch braid technically means braiding the regular braid but taking the strands underneath instead of over?
And taking strands from one side and taking it under?

This tutorial is brilliant!
I just struggling so hard to do it on my wig on a head stand 😑 I find it so much easier to do when it’s on my head, but then it looks terrible when I grab uneven pieces and it shows the cap (it’s just a cheap wig)
I scrambling to get it perfect in 3 days to have it pre done on my wig for my friends wedding as her MOH!!
My good wig I ordered never arrived !!
Hopefully I can master this because my hands automatically start doing the over braid 🤣

I only get layers cut into the front, any other layers throughout my hair have just happened naturally (breakage haha). :)

Hey I'm thinking about doing this hairstyle for prom but have a quick question! Would I be better to curl my whole head of hair and then do the braids, or do the braids and everything first and then curl it?

You are so pretty😍 I probably have to bleach my roots soon because it is coming alot of roots out now, it looks a little cool and undone until it grows out too much. I have gone so long now without using heat and my hair has no split ends and is smooth, sleek and shiny because I use hair masks weekly.
You are seriously the best. That's why I LOVE the appearance of roots, that effortless, undone look is my favourite. I totally understand though, they get to a point where they no longer look effortless, and more apparent it's time for a colour. But I bet your hair looks gorgeous! What masks are you loving right now?

I always have a problem in securing my braids using bobby pins. I always end up with too much bobby pins and are not even laying flat on my head :(
Meriane Dawn Oh no! I try to bobby pin small amounts of hair and use more of them, vs. Trying to pin a lot of hair with less. I hope that helps. ❤️

Meriane Dawn Have you tried the bobby pins that have a curve to them? They're easier to get them to lay flat, at least in my experience!
Meriane Dawn Oh and you may want to try "spin pins" as well! I found large and small ones by Goody on Amazon ;) They are really, really secure! I use them in buns and braids, esp when my hair is freshly washed and too slippery to stay put!

I work at a movie theater and will never ever stop the braids and videos.. I just need get better at the videos and edititng ...I did get a possible job offer doing hair with a lady in a town close by.. I am going to call her tomorrow and see what she has in mind...sounds like fun I am excited I feel the need to start a new chapter in the game of life xo
