The video came in handy because I'm changing the oil on my CaseIH255 today. Yesterday I checked the coolant and immediately replaced it, as it flunked the test. When I drained the system I found out why: the 30 year-old rubber washer on the drain plug had aged out and allowed coolant to weep out over time. The vendor obviously just added water to get it through a sale. Last year this same gasket went on my other Mitsubishi tractor, a Bolens G174.
The oil change had a wrinkle. The 255 has a Quebec-manufactured cab. I removed the filter with some difficulty and discovered that it was a bit dented. Then I tried to put the new one on, only to discover a 90 degree galvanized pipe fitting intruding on its space by about 1/16". I filed part of it away and used a wrench to put it on, but next time I'll grind the rest of that flange off. I figure it must be part of the plumbing for the heater in the cab.

Great video, changing the oil on my 244 and couldn't for the life of me figure out where to fill the oil.
