Nuxia's class design is just so interesting to me. The way she moves, the way her attacks are set up. I just really like the character so thank you for doing this!

Then low down the damage. You're basically taking a risk with no reward when deflects ARE suppose to be risk = reward since it requires you to dodge into an attack with a tighter timing than a parry.
It's not ridiculous. It does the same damage ad Highlanger's top heavy and his unblockable heavies. Makes sense it wouldn't be guaranteed all the time.

Do you consider shugoki's neutral heavies costing more stamina as an "undocumented change"? It is actually in the patch note, but not really explicit. His neutral heavies now cost 33 on hit, while 21 before. This is due to an increase in the additional flat cost applied to all neutral heavies of shugoki : it used to be 9, it is now 21 of additional cost (cf the shugoki column on the FH values spreadsheet for a better understanding). I don't know if you wanna talk about this in details though since you'd probably need to explain the details. However, it's worth noticing that Goki's neutral heavies used to let you down to 93 if parried, now it's 105. You can't do (heavy feint into heavy) anymore for example.
I believe that shinobi's backflip may have been changed with marching fire. Previously backflips kept your camera at the same angle, but now it forces your camera to be parallel with the ground. However, I'm not sure if this means that any of its properties have been changed. (Being able to actually dodge attacks instead of them tracking you through the entire backflip for instance.)
I've noticed hitbox changes. Example: shinobi's heavies are much shorter making hitting opponites you're not locked on but you're locked on to a different opponent either extremely rare or impossible unless their directly in front of the move. Nuxia also seems to have corrected hitboxes
Hey freeze I found another OOS throw punish. Forward throw-whiffed light twice-heavy finisher to directions not guarding. If enemy is still exhausted, heavy finisher throws the enemy, guarantees another whiffed light-heavy(If heavy finisher was a top direction, continue to light finisher. It is guaranteed, but I’m not tested it is safe.)
@@be.shonen Bots usually eat attacks that a normal player will not. Biggest example is a top heavy off a light parry with Raider. Raider doesn't get that in game. So Bots will reluctantly not block deliberately attacks they can block sometimes. Still if it lands is an insane punish but is not guaranteed.
One thing I’ve noticed that is that the body count feat hardly heals anything. I’ve asked around and checked the latest patch notes but it doesn’t seem to be an actual change?
These aren't undocumented change but rather bugs. Zerks execution move it along has an animation bug at the end, his axe sticks out of his wrist. Highlanders execution fatal toss replays the sounds of the execution after completing the execution (when you can start attacking again) I belive zerks new armour sets the criss cross patterns on his pants are meant to change colour based on your colour set, for me they are always white (I think this is a bug)
So anyone else have the bug where jumping down ledges and attempting drop-kills or getting knocked off a ladder by someone coming down makes you phase through the map?
They mentioned something on the devstream there is a big patch coming which fixes a lot of these issues. We need to wait the patch notes the coming week.

Please do TianDi Next :D I suspect it might take a while to fully discover max punishes with his kicks. I've been experimenting with bots in the training mode. I'd tick the option of "block all attacks" If the kick is a wallsplat, you can do a dodge heavy forward which would be blocked, but the following chain light would not be blocked. However, i just suspect that the bot was not able to block fast enough.
Alright so I have seen this thing Nuxia players sometimes do on a gb, they will throw their zone and you will think it's a failed heavy and try for a parry or block, but then they trap you for 45 big boi dmg. Obviously not guarenteed but it just might be worth mentioning for the chance of pretty high damage off a gb.
@freeze if you are going to do the Tiandi parry& gb punishes, be aware that his punishes are quite... different. Especially on the oos punishes. Let me know if you want to know some before you spend like 40mins testing it like I did lol.

Instead of people bitching in the comments about her deflect not being guaranteed, take into consideration that you can dish out 56 damage with it with the *Slip Through* feat when it lands.
Yeah new bug on warden SB. If done against another SB the warden who does it last wins. Like for example i charge up level 3 SB, opponent charges level 2 SB. I end up going through him and he hits me with his sb and i get light attacked. Sometimes if same level SB you two will just go through each other and have a sb hit animation. Before the bug, it always has been whoever charges the longest would win.
Isn't that just down to Warden having HA on the bash, so your opponent throws later, his HA soaks up your bash and you eat his because your HA is down because your bash connected?
Paul Hardy Fairly certain only fully charged SB has hyper armor. Also, that hyper armor doesn’t eat everything. Some bashes will still go through and interrupt. This is true for all hyper armor except Shugoki and Revenge
You need to treat her light riposte like Warlords ShieldParryCounter meaning it has to be inputted immediately during parry otherwise not wait until the parry is finished otherwise she will do a normal light.
Lord Dem Thanks for the explanation btw but is still seems so inconsistent, sometimes when I input the light during the parry animation she just stands there doing nothing, but I guess I just need to get used to it
I also encounter this problem a lot, just spam r1 at the earliest point possible so that even if your special counter doesn't work you at least get a light out of it. It's not the best, but at least you get a light instead of nothing.
Yeah I think they should be a bit more lenient with the light riposte window. LB for example has quite a lenient window for the light riposte on any parry which seems to not be the same with Nuxia.
Man its such a pain to learn to switch your guard when she is attacking with a trap :P She is a cool character though, but for some reason I have little to no issues taking her on with Conq. While Conq vs the other 3 is really difficult.
Maybe cuz shaolin can light attack you out of bash with his top light, and tiandi can use undodgables and feintable dodges. However the only way I can see JJ work is if he sifus when u bash and then he zones. But at the same time that could be risky for he can get GB:d

We tried to crushing counter with Warden and we were not able during filming the video. Haven't tried it with Shaolin though but with her deflect not being guaranteed at the moment I wouldn't think is not possible for Shaolin to deflect it.

And honestly I think this would be a great buff for raider if GBs and throws count as chain starters. He could get a side heavy on GB for 35 dmg or he could throw them and do a finisher side or top heavy when they hit a wall (not knee normal wallsplat). Maybe they could even do so after a throw you can instantly raider fury like how kensei can throw people into walls and then do the unblockable.
Teq Chiinky lol I almost solely play duels and I land it on masters/grandmasters more often then you think (currently only a diamond V cuz haven’t had as much time to play this update x.x).. However, I do believe once people learn how to fight her it’ll become a rare occasion. But hey if people are parry happy I’ll just keep giving em ye old hook
I only play her in duels and surprisingly it works more than you'd expect. Usually you can do a side dodge attack, light, heavy which becomes a 50/50 trap. It really isn't hard to get to that third attack especially considering her fast lights.

What about her revenge activation punish? Or her oos or in revenge heavy finisher punish since she drops characters to the floor in that state

So for the deflect animation it shows it “from the top” but you can switch guard like any attack?

We tested it and the heavy can be blocked.

another oos throw punish is a side throw, light, zone feint, zone into trap. 57 damage but you must have full stamina.
you can now do a zone on light parry but you have to buffer it so you don't do the heavy punish light attack
I don't know if it's just me, but side deflects feel easier now. Maybe they fixed the dodge frames taking priority over the deflect frames?

Just like kensei top heavy soft feint into right or left heavy or light. Just light but in any direction.

With bazerker I only deflect on the first or second heavy after that it’s not worth it
Sometimes on oos throw Ill do heavy into heavy trap. Its usually good once per opponent.

Thats specific to Nobushi is her retreat she can actually follow up with a cobra strike with that move
