    I actually did this for a demonstration speech, but you can take it further and burn the rest of the toothpick inside the glass so it'll balance on it's edge.

    you can also burn the end of the toothpick on the inside of the rim of the glass. It will burn away but the fork and spoon will still balance

      Apollo Robbins isn't just the best pickpocket in the world. He's also one of the best at explaining the psychology behind his tricks, whether it's his pickpocket routine or simple magic tricks. That a trick is simple and well known doesn't mean you understand *why* it works; Apollo's job here is to explain it to you.
