I'm a veteran f2p player and in a good alliance and this video is for people like me. If you are in a sucky alliance.... start applying to better alliances. It's the only thing you can try to change as a f2p player and that advice has been valid for years now. I'm pretty sure scopely will create an event or game mode that requires Night stalkers and we will be forced to build regardless. I'm sure the next Spotlight raid will be Nightstalkers and Orchis anyways so....
I was in a casual alliance for years and they hold you back. i left them in March 10th, 2024 to go after Meph. I was 43 Million TCP when i left them along with 0 G19s and only 40 G18s. Now six months later I got a big meph and working on Odin. with over 85 Million TCP. and 50 G19 toons along with 120+ G18s. Over 70-80 lvl 100 toons etc. Big difference leaving a casual alliance for a Top 100 Raid/War alliance. I might be switch again soon if this recent alliance is not top 100 in War. Only reason i left my previous top 100 alliance was because they kicked lower TCP people for people who were 100-150 million TCP. This happened to me twice but it is what it is. Still, go after alliance that suits your game style and you'll have zero regrets. I'm still much higher than anyone in the casual alliance i left they remained pretty much the same TCP or only went up 10 million lol
@DuArkTikMSFHQ because most players don't spend half the amount of money on this game that you do and therefore don't do as well in leader board events to earn purple iso and ions. Most people are also not in top tier alliances that complete all the milestones in dark future etc to earn purple iso either so yeah for the vast majority of players they will not be getting Odin within the next 2 months. Take a walk outside the palace once in awhile and see how the common folk live....then you'll see what's possible and what's not.
Ah yes, the Whales and Kraken's that have Odin and Meph don't need to waste cores on Nightstalkers. WTF? Dude, you realize most of us don't have these characters yet and can not beat Mystic with the current garbage. I think we need Nightstalkers to be able to actually play the game.

I just unlocked Mephisto 2 days ago, FtP, and was just under the 7500th person to do so. 3 members of my alliance have since unlocked him and a couple others are a week or two away

As for as DD8, I have no idea how you're acquiring all that purple iso without spending a good chunk of money. Unfortunately, I don't have the money even if I wanted to buy offers. So, in the meantime, I'll go ahead and get the new team so I can actually progress in the raids instead of waiting hopefully 2 months to get the two Mythical characters that might help in the raids. On a side note, Blade is one of my all time favorite Marvel characters, so I'm definitely getting him.

So until purple iso becomes more readily available, most people are gated from Odin and Meph. I'm in a top 1000 alliance and still don't have Mephisto yet. Maybe in the next 2 months. Plus you know how Scopely is.... some event will require a full Nightstalkers team to participate and so we will be forces to build them regardless so.
I get what you're saying but i think you should preface that this video is for endgame mega kraken and whale players. Most of the community does not have Mephisto and are nowhere near having Odin.
The premise is correct but this isn't geared towards free to play. The only way you have enough Purple iso right now is to be at the top of events. There may be some FTP players that have Odin and some with laser focus that have Memphisto but not many. I think the nightstalkers will still be needed by those that don't have Memphisto. You don't need Odin to do D3 difficulty either just Memphisto. But for players that have them, he's spot on you don't need the team and there's no way to make so that the Odin and Memphisto combo don't work and the nightstalkers do. They'd have to totally redesign the raid
Lots of mixed comments... If your veteran you should have a good enough Bifrost to tackle Mystic section on low difficulty or if you on a good Alliance, your tackling mid to high difficulty but already have / close to having Mephisto in which case (with the help of Agatha and Moon Knight) you can clear most of the nodes without the rest of the Nightstalkers
I dont have odin or meph because only been playing 3 months. Ive got super skrull already but itll be a few months before i get them so while im waiting to get them ill be doing up this team so i can do the mystic raids because i cant even complete one node at the minute

I'm a light spender, I've bought a couple strike passes and the boost up to 95 which kind of feels like I've cheated lol but my first action was to get apoc and then super skrull. I'm only level 98 so I need to wait a little until I'm 100 to get meph but I'm already buying mini uniques for 800k so hopefully have a couple characters ready

Then the road to get Apoc felt long and arduous enough that once I got him, it felt like the work paid off.

Also you do know this is the 1st version of the raid similar of the way they did with doom 1st strike. i think there could be like a spotlight raid that may require specifically Nightstalkers but currently agree its skippable. Mystic is very doable Meph right now and much easier with odin.
Im mad I spent my hard earned money to even unlock Captain Britton who is still sitting at 3Y3R stars and no gear or levels invested, and I still dont have SUS, Mophisto, or Odin unlocked.. What F2P players have Odin?! I’m a pretty decent spender(no whale), had completed isos for 3/5 of my dd8 teams prior to dd8 launch and finished the rest during the 1st couple days. I’m 258 on Odin unlock leaderboards and easily spent $100 extra that week on refreshes alone, so I doubt very much any significant number of F2P players have unlocked him AND have Mephisto to be skipping Nighstalkers.

If we assume there's roughly 377000 active players as per the latest leaderboard event, and I unlocked Mephesto as number 8071 this morning CEST time (We seem to be getting about 300 unlocks a day currently, if we compare latest reports on Reddit vs. my unlock number) I do not think that the general F2P player should get their hopes up to run with a Mephesto/Odin combo anytime soon. As such Nightstalkers serves a decent enough purpose, even two months from now, because two months from now, less than 10% of the active playerbase will have Mephesto unlocked if we continue with a ~300 player unlock per day.

As an endgame player who has mephisto and a 7 red Odin, I find it extremely annoying to see these kinds of videos out there. Who did you make this video for?? Obviously if you have mephisto AND Odin mystic raids will be easier. Nightstalkers may not be for players like you and me, but they damn sure will help all the players who don't have the 2 best characters in the game at their disposal. Not to mention the fact that these are new stat characters, so whatever level you're playing at, they'll be stronger than 90% of your current roster and will be extremely viable in most game modes and every dark dimension. Oh and last thing, do you really think they won't be needed in the coming battleworld game mode? They literally show blade fighting knull. Come on man, they aren't skippable

In the future we will need nightstalker in events like OML event so building it to G17-G18 will be necessary IMO.
