Nintendo can try all they want, but I’ll always love those start up screens before the title screen, and I’ll always prefer them to the Switch’s more quick and simple way of getting to the title.

A lot of people might just pay attention to the title screen and say Switch wins but remember that the Wii U version has to show the controller screen while the Switch doesn’t. If you count the controller screen as the game starting then it’s actually a tie.
About the same tbh, the WiiU always starts off games by displaying the usable controllers similar to some switch games popping up the grip pattern at start

The wii u one opened immediately, while the switch took more time, I’m getting a wii u for Christmas rather than the next switch, if it comes out in time.
They made the Switch version way too fast. The characters run around so quickly, that it's difficult to make some of the maneuvers. This is a great game, but that's my one complaint about the Switch port. It would be nice if they let you pick which version you wanted to play.

Wii U uses optical technology while Switch cartridges, it is well known that cartridges are way faster than optical discs (except for blu-ray, but Wii U's are DVDs) It's like the difference between a SSD and a HDD, being the cartridge the SSD and the disc the HDD In fact they work with similar technologies, SSDs and cartridges are flash memories while Heads and Optical discs are... Well discs, flash memories are faster than disc memories
