Two mil and some extra and all they got was diving equipment for three, blow torch that works underwater, and guns....What did they do with the rest of the money? Then ask for three more guys. Five people is more than enough and leaving Mr. Hotshot to shoot his own leg was all priceless. Worth the money well taken for that.

Micheal surely knows how to hold his breath underwater for an extensive amount of time.
That's because Michael has great capability to hold his breath for quite amount of time
JBS Gaming, this is very interesting take on the GTA 5 universe. I can imagine how Michael, Trevor, and Franklin would get involved as law enforcement officers/agents. Here is how I see their origin stories in an alternate universe where our main characters are cops/agents:

Michael and Trevor were once FIB operatives; however, when things gone awry in the prologue and Agent Michael is [presumably] killed in action, Trevor is demoralized and disappears from the FIB. Unbeknownst to him, Michael moves his family to Los Santos and retires from law enforcement (albeit with some help from the FIB witness protection program). But due to his skill sets, Trevor decides to take a new direction in his life, and he settles down in Los Santos to become a sheriff. Despite this, Trevor finds his new profession boring and monotonous; however, realizing the power and authority in his hands, he decides to vent his frustrations and sorrows elsewhere ... particularly any person in his sights.
Meanwhile, Franklin is a street smart cop, deployed as a deep undercover agent in the criminal underworld. Sadly for him, his undercover operations are complicated when he meets his childhood friend, Lamar. Hence, Franklin is juggling a double life; he's living as your typical gang-banger [constantly saving his friend's life or clearing up his friend's mess] in one place while also being a corrupted cop working alongside Michael and Trevor (who are also corrupted law enforcement agents).

I love this series so much!
I like to imagine them being corrupt cops doing corrupt things. The addition of other Cops in cutscenes is fantastic too! I can’t wait to see more. Plus the graphical enactments are great and not over done. Beautiful.

Yea, they survived as Steven was also there and they pretended to respond to "that raid situation" so as to "protect that human lab", so they have excuses to escape from those IAA agents and marine back ups
