I totally agree with the restriction of Marijuana to people below 20 years of age. I am glad that I kept myself away from it during my college days and tasted it on few occasions. But I have personally seen and experience the physiological and mental effect of Marijuana consumption around me. My friends who started consuming Marijuana since school days have been silently suffering its consequences later in their personal and social life especially having poor critical thinking skills, poor interpersonal skills and poor decision making skills.

Our researchers must be provided with needed appropriate authority to collect and/or grow cannabis, so that the potency profiling of variety of strains of cannabis phytochemicals secondary metabolites found at different geographic location can be properly mapped. Only after which, a proper legislation can be drafted considering medical or recreational use.
