The current national anthem of Myanmar/Burma(Kaba Ma Kyei) is taken from the Do Bama Song melody.
This song created in 1930 by Saya Tin,but the lyrics are modified in 1947 by U Sein Mya Maung and in 1989 by the State Law and Order Restoration Council (change "Burma" word into "Myanmar" in the lyrics)
This song was anthem of Dobama Asiayone (a Burmese nationalist group) and State of Burma (1943-1945) after that this song modified into Kaba Ma Kyei (the current national anthem).
