Wow, thank you for this. They had this at my favorite arcade growing up and I played it all the time. It created such a great, full environment for the gameplay. That looks like it’s in fantastic condition. Just amazing!
I had no idea they made an environmental for Tron. That thing is incredible. I've seen the two-player table-top arcade, which is rare as hen's teeth, but had no idea they made this beast. Wow.
I played this game often. It was a superior experience over most games at the time. Always wish they had a double cabinet where you could play against a friend.
@@diegobarizo5076 All it takes is money money money. I want a Marble Madness 2 cabinet myself. Or hell, i'd be fine with the rom being ripped, just so I can play the damn game before I die...
I like how it does incorporate digital speech along with surroundsound. It’s the first and only Tron cabinet that has not only digital speech, but it’s surround sound system.
God! This Game was my childhood ( Tween years and early adolescence.) and is Dope 🔥! I easily put this in my top five ( Probably 3) of all Time arcade cabs! 😎 Dude you were 800 points from an extra Life! My High score back in the day was barely 250,000 points! 😎 Unfortunately I haven’t been able to play this in 33 years! 🙄
I remember seeing Sark in a window in the upper middle of the screen watching the game play. He wouldn't move, just taunt you when you won your round. Don't see him here.
I've watched a few of these vids now and some people have mentioned the elusive 'Sark'. I played this game as a teenager back in 1987 and never saw sark in the upper middle. Was it a static picture or was it part of the game? I'm thinking it might have been a picture that was reflected by glass, but I never saw it. I loved this game and it's a shame that the eighties was a fleeting memory. Time just moves so fast. I wanted more time to play this.
This is hands-down my favorite arcade game of all time. I remember playing this back in '86 as a kid and love love loved it.

This is one of only 2 Holy Grail machines for me! The other would be the sit-down enviro STAR WARS cabinet. Nice find!
I've wanted one of those for twenty years now.
What an awesome machine just the glasswork and graphic designs on these games brings me back to being a kid again love it… great video
this is incredible. thanks for making and sharing. also extra points for proper camera and editing work, thanks breah!!
Before I got addicted to Gauntlet I used to play this atmospheric gem. At the time I felt immersed in the grid and would chuck 10p after 10p at it.

Seriously the most awesome arcade experience because of the Environmental cab. The gameplay is fun, but SO much cooler inside that cabinet.
I only saw this in the wild once, so this was a great tour. Thank you. Now I want one.
He's got an Afterburner in the full cabinet! I hate that guy! ;-)

Thanks for the voice which is a bonus edition to the game the commander is relentless as he taunts the player again and again
They’ll be taunting can only happen whenever you lose a fight
He will say phrases like had enough or just straight up laugh at you
That looks so cool. Seen it before but not in as much detail. Now I really want to play it! Nice video
I used to play this constantly, such a great cabinet
Thank you for this!
amazing cab. loved that game
absolutly beautifull

This and the late 80's Atari Games were some of the most uniquely made arcade cabinets.
Wow. She's a beaut. Nice work!
i want to own one once in my life.
AWESOME AWESOME VIDEO 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I don't remember the amber line under the disks that sark stands upon is it a reflection from a lamp in the game or from the background of the room ?
Arcade 1up, please make a cabinet for all tron games...
Does the MCR sound board on Disks of Tron environmental contain special hardware to enable front to rear audio panning ?
Thank you.
great video thx
Arcade 1up needs to sell this cabinet

The Arcadinator It was a static picture.
Thank you for the info. Makes sense how it's missing from the game. People probably lost it due to the progress of time.
The Arcadinator No problem. It was just a small red silhouette, but you could tell it was Sark.
Do you still have this beauty and is it possibly up for sale?
This is just like OMG!!!!!!!!!
is the opening speech length random or is there a setting
Sold..!
Do you still have it?
Is it for sale?
Something about seeing this *old school* thing is just (do the math)
Wont buy Tron because it doesn't have speech... What the heck are you doing Arcade 1up?
