Honestly, Ben's room is my fave, as it is so bright overall, the house looks so cozy! especially the wallpaper in the living room adds to it but, as for the arts pieces that you'd like to decorate the kids' rooms with - don't overdo it, sometimes we get too carried away with this stuff, and you don't want everything to clash and be too much, do you?

In yours and Garys room I really suggest putting a big rectangular basket that would go against the bed close to your feet. You can store blankets or some clothes in there but it will bring more protected feel when you are sliding in such big space. Or instead of a woven basket you can get a vintage wooden box :)
Now that you are in the process of designing this home and also for future renovations: please be wary of who you hire for your projects! We had someone re-do our balcony and he did a bad job so we critized the final look. He showed up at our house a couple days later with an AXE and destroyed the balcony, now we have a 🌠lawsuit🌠 going. He already had some felonies before this, but we found out about that wayyy too late. It's a crazy story.

You could do the wallpaper on the ceiling and pick a feature wall like the one behind the bed so the eye doesn't focus on the ceiling and it doesn't narrow the space of maxis room. With walls again, I wouldn't go too dark. However, if it's a world map look for wallpaper that's background matches the colour of the existing walls and opt for a more hand-drawn/less contrasting design.

I love the tour. I personally think the fact that its a lived in version insteafd of a staged version makes it looks even more interesting! However, the color filter on the vid kinda threw me off a bit 😢

Due to the fact that I am a long term south Florida resident (i.e. I grew up in Miami), I know that this house probably cost more than a million dollars. Shout out to anyone who can afford to live this way. MOST LOCALS CAN NOT! We have a tremendous housing crisis in Dade and Broward county which only seems to be getting worse because locals are getting priced out by people (such as this woman and her husband) who are effectively driving up the price of housing. South Florida will be no different from California in a few years.
Yes. Then again miami caters to the wealthy. Why do u think everything old gets torn down to become modern? Its why celebrities like drake, cardi, etc celebrate their birthdays here. The city caters to wealth like them. I was born and raised here for 15yrs. My gma says you come here bc you are rich or to become rich. And if your neither your gonna struggle hard. I personally havent left due to my family and school but once im done with college im leaving. I see Miami has a good vacation destination. Ill miss the beaches.
