Thanks This Is Us for introducing me to this beautiful song and the truly wonderful Inara George, not least for helping me to continue my personal tradition of having to wipe away a tear at the end of every episode of TIU, they somehow manage to do it every time! I can’t believe that Inara has only just come onto my radar either, especially since I find that her father has long since been someone I listen to regularly, and still love. So thank you, thank you, thank you .... I’m now a huge fan and I know that my musical world has just been enriched.
And as she sings out over the water…tears slip down….remembering her Father and thanking the heavens that YOU exist

Jack and Rebecca brought me here some while back, like most it seems, but now I can’t go more than a few days without hearing it. Bought a hard copy immediately, and it’s on every device I own - as is all of Inara’s music I’ve acquired so far. I hear something new in this particular song every time I hear it, sometimes makes me happy, other times sad, but that gorgeous, gorgeous voice is something I just can’t get enough of and especially in this song, love the video too. I’ve been a huge music fan since I was a kid and my very first wage packet all went on music, and I’ve never stopped collecting since - very eclectic, probably got enough to open my own radio station! Every now and then though I hear something, like this, and I can honestly say that it enriches my life; I’m 59 now, surrounded by thousands of records (yes records), cassettes, and I’ve no idea how many thousands of CDs, but this is one of those special ones that hit me right between the eyes and I know I’ll still be listening to it regularly until I leave this planet .... hope I get a juke box with all my favourite music, if there is a heaven I can’t think of anything else that’d make it feel like paradise. Thanks Inara, this is truly a gift.

Yes This Is Us introduced me to this song -WOW - Lost my husband to suicide (he had schizophrenia) 28 yrs. ago when our child was 1 1/2 yrs. old. Our child just turned 30 twelve days ago & I still wish his Daddy was here. Though I don't necessarily want to be "released" as the song says, I often wonder if I will ever let go of wanting him back. It probably goes without mentioning, I cry during each This Is Us episode-but ya know what? ---A Good Cry is like a Good Laugh & A Happy Memory==== VERY CLEANSING FOR THE SOUL!!!! This Is A Beautiful Song that I am sure will help bring many people that much closer to healing their broken hearts
