Beautiful!!! I thought fingerstyle is the only way to perform such as "singing guitar", but now I know that my guitar can sing with only chord and melody.
my first jazz album when I expanded my musical horizons was Black Market by Weather Report...first jazz guitar was Pat Metheny's New Chautauqua...wore those albums out and it's always like seeing old friends when I listen to them. I'm starting that same relationship with My Favorite Monster. This collection hits my sweet spot in the same timeless way. Just mesmerizing and I hope you resume touring soon Rotem. I'll be front row.
Hi. You did this allready for summertime. So i ve bought the tabs on paetron. This kind of lesson works pretty well. Sunday morning Is a good time to buy the next tabs. Thank you 4 Your lessons.
Very nice and instructive. I especially like the n-level approach, but even level 1 one sounds beautiful. I would like to see a video on "Someday my prince will come".
Thanks for the lesson, I menee this song with Robert Palmer version. I find it not too difficult and can play it. When got it I will record a video.....
Level 3 is your style man: very good, very musical... my compliments. And BTW I personally liked you quoting a Beatles' theme (Dear Prudence, Michelle...) in a Jazz standard arrangement 😊...
Incredibly useful and fun lesson. Best jazz instruction on YT. And the tones from that guitar are so beautiful. Can I ask what amp you’re using? Thanks.
great vid! quick q: why is level 1 a "fake" chord melody? i understand it's not interweaving melody & chords as elegantly as it could, but is playing melody (no chord underneath), then playing chords (no melody above) invalid as a chord melody arrangement?
Wow sounds beautiful. In level 3 that chord you play on 16:29 blows my mind. Supposedly is C7 in that spot, however the voicing is D Ab B and G, so its more like a Cmaj9#5 substitution - am I right?? And that same shape up a whole tone where is D7 you play E Bb C# and A, so same principle right? If not, how do you see that chord?? Thanks, awesome lesson!

Great lesson! Your touch is really subtle and beautiful. May I ask you what kind of pick do you use? It looks rather thin..

Hey Rotem! Can you please teach us the walking bassline+chords of jazz-blues, which you have played with Peter Bernstein?

Rotem is for sure one of the best on YT, but check out what Robbie Barnby has produced so far if you haven’t.
@@wilburbooy255 thanks - just checked him out, seems very new and very good!
While we’re at it. Would love to know ..Are you using an always on delay pedal? Which one and how do you set it (generally speaking)

Please make a video about swing!🙏

What are the rubber bands and the blocked off pickup for?

Or maybe you’re just looking at those chords as diminished with the upper note being the melody note… Cdim with a high G and Ddim with a high A?
do a video on My Favorite Monster
do "Fly to the moon" please
what is that guitar?
Someday my prince will come?
👌👍❤
You’re an amazing Guitarist/Instructor! Please check out What A Friend We Have In Jesus (Yah/Yahawashi). Thanks

I've been watching Rotem's videos for a while but I can't hold anymore: why....? why the cork piece on the guitar top?
Covering the hole to stop feedback.
