Excelent!! I love you decided to watch the movie and then watching episode 1 of season 2, magnificent!! The nostalgia and the feels you get when recontextualizing everything with episode 1 is perfect. Always watch the movie first, that's the right advice, since with a little bit of thinking you can predict everything if you watch episode 1 first, so I do not recomend that to anybody. Episode 1 gets elevated to new heights if you watched the movie first, it makes you appreciate more everything.

1000% The episodes are SO much better than the movie. They're missing out on so much extra story. Especially with Rengoku. I never watch the movie. I only watch the episodes. When I first watched the show I watched the episodes, then the movie only after because of that exact reason. Fuck the movie, lol.

Parts is better because then we get to see them react to more moments of the entire film. It spreads it out and gives them more to edit and show.
Kind of disappointed. Should have just watched the episodes. They're FAR superior to the movie. Like 35 MORE minutes of story. But you could always just watch it after I guess. But going in as a new watcher the episodes are so much more exciting and makes the whole arc much more emotional. You really fall in love with Rengoku's character more. I just don't think you get that as much with the movie and it kind of sucks to only get a movies length worth of Rengoku. Rengoku deserved so much better though.
Too late now though. I'm excited to watch Dav's first emotional breakdown though, lol. PLEASE post the rest of the parts today! we can't wait! Lol.

Not true there's barely 5 minutes of new content and If you're referring to the 1st episode, it was released after the movie so 90% of the watchers watched it the way they do right now

@@clawili2422 Wrong. The movie is an hour and 57 minutes, the episodes without watching the openings and endings is like 2.6 hours. That’s a LOT of extra content… So no it isn’t just 5 minutes. 🤣
Also, the episodes flow with the story way better than the movie does and there’s more context to characters etc etc.
Doesn’t matter what came out first. It’s already out and they’re reacting now so what you’re saying about release dates doesn’t matter whatsoever. The episodes are WAY better, period.
